'Smoking gun' leaves holes in CO2 debate
EPA criticized for findings based on politics, not science

A White House memo has created a firestorm after it criticized the Environmental Protection Agency's classification of greenhouse gas as a public health threat and warned that regulation of CO2 will result in "serious economic consequences" for businesses and the economy.

The document from the Office of Management and Budget questions the EPA's April assessment because it claims it was not based on a thorough examination of costs and benefits and falls short on solid scientific findings.

Sen. John Barrasso, R-Wyo., exposed the "smoking gun" after he received a nine-page memo marked "Deliberative: Attorney-Client Privilege."

He presented the document to Lisa P. Jackson, EPA administrator, at a Tuesday hearing of the Environment and Public Works Committee.

"Council in this administration repeatedly, repeated questions the lack of scientific support that you have for this proposed finding," he told Jackson. "Your findings were political, not scientific."

He read from the memo. "There is a concern that the EPA is making a finding based on harm from substances that have no demonstrated direct health effects, such as respiratory or toxic effects," it stated.

On multiple occasions, the document questions the EPA's judgment in determining that greenhouse gases endanger public health.

"Since tropospheric ozone is already regulated under the Clean Air Act, EPA should explain why those regulations are inadequate to protect public health from the ozone impacts of climate change," it said.

Making the decision to regulate CO2 under the CAA [Clean Air Act] for the first time is likely to have serious economic consequences for regulated entities throughout the U.S. economy, including small businesses and small communities. Should EPA later extend this finding to stationary sources, small businesses and institutions would be subject to costly regulatory programs such as New Source Review.

Barrasso warned in a blog posting, "This misuse of the Clean Air Act will be a trigger for overwhelming regulation and lawsuits based on gases emitted from cars, schools, hospitals and small business. This will affect any number of other sources, including lawn mowers, snowmobiles and farms. This will be a disaster for the small businesses that drive America."

The document is a combination of findings from government agencies sent to the EPA notes there are several gray areas in which greenhouse gases are "not well determined" and "not well understood."

"Despite the findings in the memo, the White House has given the EPA the green light to move ahead with regulation under the Clean Air Act," Barrasso wrote.

Senior Fellow Marlo Lewis of Competitive Enterprise Institute, a non-profit, non-partisan public policy group, said the memo simply confirms what free-market groups have been saying for months.

"The endangerment finding will trigger a regulatory cascade with potentially severe impacts on energy prices, economic development, and jobs," he said in a statement.

"Once EPA finalizes the endangerment finding, the stage is set for a flood of litigation to impose draconian Clean Air Act controls on the economy," he said. "Similarly, litigation groups will demand that the Administration use the Endangered Species Act to stop greenhouse gas emissions."

Lewis continued, "It will all happen on President Obama's watch, and he will take all the blame. Republicans will be quick to exploit the political backlash. For the sake of the country and his own political legacy, President Obama should introduce legislation to preclude regulation of greenhouse gases under existing environmental statutes."

GIVE up lamb roasts and save the planet. Government advisers are developing menus to combat climate change by cutting out “high carbon” food such as meat from sheep, whose burping poses a serious threat to the environment.

Out will go kebabs, greenhouse tomatoes and alcohol. Instead, diners will be encouraged to consume more potatoes and seasonal vegetables, as well as pork and chicken, which generate fewer carbon emissions.

“Changing our lifestyles, including our diets, is going to be one of the crucial elements in cutting carbon emissions,” said David Kennedy, chief executive of the Committee on Climate Change.

Kennedy has stopped eating his favourite doner kebabs because they contain lamb.

A government-sponsored study into greenhouse gases found that producing 2.2lb of lamb released the equivalent of 37lb of carbon dioxide.

The mother of Bronx terror suspect David Williams said the government snitch who cozied up to her son promised him a liver transplant for his dying brother - and even drove the pea-brained plotter to Queens to face charges of groping a woman on a city bus.

“He promised he would take care of it,” McWilliams said, recalling what her son - whom she called “Little David” - told her about Hussain’s pledge.

“He said, ‘Don’t worry, mom. I’m going to be able to give you money on [Thursday] to help you with the Lord.’”

Williams, 28, an ex-con who had done prison time for dealing drugs, was busted Wednesday along with three accomplices as they tried to bomb two Bronx synagogues. The FBI had been tailing the plotters for more than a year, using Hussain as a middleman.

As it turns out the so-called Muslim terrorists busted in New York, who supposedly wanted to blow up synagogues in the Bronx and shoot down military airplanes flying out of the New York Air National Guard base, were petty criminals set-up by the FBI.

“Last year, the four men began communicating with an FBI informant who sold them fake explosives and inactive missiles,” reports the Christian Science Monitor. “While the bombs these terrorists attempted to plant tonight were — unbeknownst to them — fake, this latest attempt to attack our freedoms shows that the homeland security threats against New York City are sadly all too real,” said New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg.

In other words, the men were patsies that posed absolutely no threat to New York and without the involvement of the FBI there would have been no terror plot. In fact, as Paul Joseph Watson notes today, the men “have turned out to be semi-retarded potheads” that did not possess the intelligence or wherewithal to engage in terrorist activities. Even the Associated Press admits they were “amateurs every step of the way. They had trouble finding guns and bought cameras at Wal-Mart to photograph their targets. One was a convicted purse snatcher, another smoked marijuana the day the plot was to be carried out.”

The New York terror plot is reminiscent of the so-called Miami Seven case. In that case, the FBI promised a group of semi-retards and losers money and explosives for an FBI-cooked up plot to blow up the Sears Tower in Chicago. It took two hung juries before 5 of the 7 supposed terrorists were convicted earlier this month.

It didn’t take long for officials to exploit the alleged terror plot and call for Congress to “increase anti-terror funding to New York and other areas that suffered a significant reduction a few years ago,” according to Fox News.

Congress scaled back funding for the Department of Homeland Security’s Urban Areas Security Initiative in 2006, cutting it about $125 million to $711 million. DHS cut its urban security funds for New York by 40 percent to provide more to mid-size cities, provoking criticism from lawmakers and local officials. The grant for New York was cut to $124 million from about $207 million in 2006.

“This alleged plot shows that — even though we have not been attacked domestically since 9/11 — we must remain vigilant concerning the potential radicalization and recruitment of individuals in the United States for terrorist activity,” declared Sen. Joe Lieberman, I-Conn., chairman of the Homeland Security Committee.

Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y., the top Republican on the House Homeland Security Committee, told a New York radio station that the incident was another example of the FBI doing its job — that is to say, creating absurd terror cells out of whole cloth and then busting them in order to legitimatize throwing billions of dollars down a rat hole.

The orchestrated plot also takes heat off the DHS as it comes under scrutiny for producing the “rightwing extremist” document by turning the focus back on Muslims.

“It’s fair to say that homegrown terrorism is a serious threat and something that law enforcement agencies and the government are taking seriously at the federal and local levels,” said a Homeland official. “This is something that people have been concerned about for a number of years.”

President Barack Obama is to announce this week that he is reviving controversial military trials for terror suspects held at Guantanamo Bay, US officials said.

Obama is scheduled to meet in the Oval Office Wednesday with Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Patrick Leahy and Senator Jeff Sessions, the top Republican on the panel, in addition to congressional leadership.

The president could push Congress, which created the military commissions in 2006, to curb the use of hearsay evidence, ban coerced testimony and allow suspects to choose their defense counsel, one source said.

Liberals were so mesmerized by Obama’s rhetoric, the promises he had absolutely no intention of fulfilling, that they overlooked the fact he is a front man for the same sinister forces behind George Bush, who the liberals hated — and rightly so — with a vengeance. It is now impossible to ignore the fact that Obama will not only continue the policies of the Bush administration — torture, detention, war stretching out into the indeterminable future — but will build on them, as instructed. Obama will jettison his liberal followers because he no longer has use for them. It remains to be seen if they will mobilize and fight against the dark forces in control of the government, of if they will simply repeat the process during the next staged election cycle. It was Albert Einstein who said insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Are liberal Democrats insane?

Lost in all the blather about Nancy Pelosi, the CIA, and torture is a stark fact generally ignored by the corporate media and the Sunday news show talking heads — not only did the United States torture, it murdered the tortured.

John Sifton, a reporter and researcher for Human Rights, wrote about the estimated 100 detainees murdered in May 5 for The Daily Beast, but his report was more or less ignored. David Edwards and Stephen Webster picked up the story on May 15 for Raw Story after Amy Goodman of Democracy Now interviewed Sifton (see video on this page).

As Sifton told Goodman, Human Right Watch and other groups knew about the torture-homicides back in 2003. “The killings, at least some of them, have hardly been kept secret,” writes Sifton. “As early as May-June 2003, The New York Times and Washington Post reported on deaths of detainees in Afghanistan. Two detainees at Bagram air base died after extensive beatings by U.S. troops in December 2002 — a case reported by The New York Times and that was also the subject of the Oscar-winning documentary Taxi to the Dark Side. Another death involved a man beaten to death by a CIA contractor at a base in Asadabad, in eastern Afghanistan, in June 2003.”

Human Rights First determined in 2006 that nearly 100 detainees died in U.S. custody in Afghanistan and Iraq facilities as of 2005, and that almost half of the cases were clearly homicides. “The government is not unaware of these homicides. In April 2006, a colleague of mine at Human Rights Watch and I met with Department of Justice criminal-division officials and requested information and updates on this case and several others. Justice officials were familiar with these cases, but our pleas for information were rejected,” writes Sifton.

“The bottom line is that many detainee homicides in Iraq and Afghanistan were the direct result of approval and orders from the highest levels of government, and that high officials in the government are accomplices. Any meaningful investigation of those homicides would reveal the initial authorizations and their link to the homicides.”

John Sifton says Attorney General Eric Holder and the Department of Justice cannot conclude their deliberations about Bush-era torture policies without closely investigating the homicide cases tied to them.

The Obama administration has used a “legal parlor trick” to make sure torture — and presumably torture-murder — continues, according to James Hill, a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery. On January 22, 2009, Obama signed a number of executive orders supposedly designed to end the Bush administration’s abusive practices in dealing with terrorism suspects, but these contain loopholes big enough to drive a Mack truck through, Hill noted on January 26, 2009. “Labeling detainees the product of counterterrorism operations rather than of armed conflict, or holding detainees in detention facilities operated by entities other than the CIA, may allow government agents and private contractors conforming to the letter of the president’s order to continue practices most would consider torture.”

In other words, the “the political class in the corridors of power” will make certain such crimes continue, as there is little difference between the Bush and Obama administrations. Obama, or rather the “political class” that pulls his strings, “will do whatever is required,” especially if he sees “information that would” change his mind about the use of “enhanced interrogation techniques,” that is to say torture and murder (see President Obama Won’t Rule Out Torture).

Last month, Obama and leading Democrats indicated they will block any independent commission to investigate torture (and murder). “According to press reports, Obama told Congressional Democrats that any sort of investigation of the torture, which was carried out on the orders of top officials and in blatant violation of domestic and international law, would use up too much time and would likely expand into other areas of Bush administration criminality,” Tom Eley wrote on April 27. “Now in power, the Democrats have no intention of dissolving the panoply of anti-democratic measures enacted by the Bush administration in the ‘war on terror.’ Indeed, the Obama Justice Department has gone into court repeatedly in an attempt to quash legal challenges to torture, extraordinary rendition and illegal domestic spying.”

Not only will the torture-murder of hapless detainees continue, but the mass murder juggernaut Obama inherited — or rather now represents as the selected front man — will continue to roll on with its macabre and criminal death dance. So far, according to the prestigious medical journal Lancet and other investigations, well over a million Iraqis have died as a direct result of the illegal invasion and occupation of Iraq, a number that exceeds the 800,000 to 900,000 believed killed in the Rwandan genocide in 1994, and is approaching the number (1.7 million) who died in Cambodia (with U.S. support of the murderous Khmer Rouge).

Obama has promised to add numbers to the death toll in Afghanistan and Pakistan where “Obama will… continue his predecessor’s policies in the region… to protect the oil pipelines, and to resume the encircling of Russia and China under the guise of wanting to destroy the mythical Al Qaeda and its leader the late OBL,” as the Rev. Richard Skaff notes. Obama is dedicated to “the mythical and contrived war on terror” and will continue “the policy of the previous administration and of the money masters. Obama like every other president, chose expediency over truth and justice. He is after all another front man, namely a politician.”

Torture and torture-related murder are merely additional tools in the “mythical and contrived war on terror,” as Obama insists.

According to Evan Perez of the Wall Street Journal, the Obama administration is in the process of retooling military commission trials that were conducted for prisoners held in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Perez reports that Obama is struggling “to establish his counter-terrorism policies, balancing security concerns against attempts to alter Bush-administration practices he has harshly criticized.”

During the election, Obama said Guantanamo should be closed and habeas corpus restored for the detainees. He said the United States should have “developed a real military system of justice that would sort out the suspected terrorists from the accidentally accused.”

In fact, Obama never seriously considered substantially modifying policies of the previous administration, as is now obvious. His opposition to the “counter-terrorism” policies of the Bush neocons during the election was little more than posturing intended to bamboozle anti-war Democrats and those outraged by human rights abuses. Obama continued the policies of his predecessor after the election, much to the chagrin of Democrats and self-described progressives who bought into his “change” rhetoric.

Obama’s version of military commission trials will call for indefinite detentions with the imprimatur of some type of national-security court. This is a far cry from his promise to restore habeas corpus to the detainees. “This is a difficult question. How do you hold someone in prison without a trial indefinitely?” mused South Carolina Republican and neocon Sen. Lindsay Graham, who has attended meetings on the issue with White House Counsel Greg Craig.

In addition to the announced continuation of the illegal military commission trials — in violation of the Geneva Conventions — Obama has reversed his announced decision to release photos showing abuse of prisoners at U.S. military facilities in Iraq and Afghanistan. Obama said the reason for the reversal was due to his belief that releasing the photographs would endanger U.S. troops and “further inflame anti-American opinion,” according to the New York Times. Obama has bowed to the Pentagon which had fought tooth and nail against releasing the photographs.

The decision to release the photographs came after an ACLU lawsuit prevailed at the Federal District Court level and before a panel of the Second Circuit.

Increasingly, every one — including previously mesmerized Democrats — are beginning to understand there is little difference between the Bush and Obama administrations in regard to the twin occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan (thus far resulting in the murder of over a million people), torture, and the secret military trials of abducted foreign nationals.

The seamless transition between administrations — a seamless continuation of war crimes and crimes against humanity — should come as no surprise to those who bothered to pay attention and were not mesmerized by facile and completely disingenuous election season rhetoric and silly mantras promising change.

As Max Blunt eloquently put it during the rigged dog and pony show known as the U.S. election cycle, Obama repeatedly expressed a “deep willingness to obsequiously kiss the ring of dominant political and economic authority.” In fact, the elite — through New World Order doyen and Rockefeller minion Zbigniew Brzezinski — groomed Obama specifically for the job. He is a creature of Goldman Sachs, UBS AG, Lehman Brothers, JP Morgan Chase, Citigroup, Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse, and the rest and their order out of chaos agenda.

It remains to be seen if Democrats and the fawning legions of “yes we can” zombies will come around the next time the elite hold a so-called election in a little over three and a half years.

In the meantime, we can expect our rulers to continue building their high-tech control grid in incremental but steady fashion. It really is irrelevant what front man is in office because the global elite are itching to impose martial law and a military dictatorship in response to the next Hegelian dialect false flag attack or full-blown designer pathogen pandemic now promised to hit this coming autumn and winter.

The real reason behind Obama’s reversal of a decision to release the torture photos has been almost completely ignored by the corporate media - the fact that the photos show both US and Iraqi soldiers raping teenage boys in front of their mothers.

The Obama administration originally intended to release photos depicting torture and abuse of detainees in Afghanistan and Iraq by the end of May, following a court order arising out of a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit first filed by the ACLU in 2004.

However, a reversal of Obama’s decision was announced this week, after he “changed his mind after viewing some of the images and hearing warnings from his generals in Iraq and in Afghanistan that such a move would endanger US troops deployed there,” according to a Washington Post report.

In response, the ACLU charged that Obama “has essentially become complicit with the torture that was rampant during the Bush years by being complicit in its coverup.” The Obama administration has also sought to protect intelligence officials involved in torture from prosecution at every turn.

The primary reason why Obama is now blocking the release of the photos is that some of the pictures, as well as video recordings, show prison guards sodomizing young boys in front of their mothers, both with objects as well as physical rape.

This horrific detail has been almost completely ignored by the establishment media in their coverage of the story this week, despite the fact that it’s been in the public domain for nearly five years, after it was first revealed by investigative Seymour Hersh during an ACLU conference in July 2004.

Hersh’s contention that minors were raped by prison guards while others filmed the vulgar spectacle is backed up by a leaked Abu Ghraib memorandum highlighted in a 2004 London Guardian report, in which detainees Kasim Hilas describes “the rape of an Iraqi boy by a man in uniform”. The testimony was also part of the military’s official Taguba Report into the torture at Abu Ghraib.

A 2004 London Telegraph report also described photos which showed “US soldiers beating an Iraqi prisoner nearly to death and having sex with a female PoW,” as well as a videotape, apparently made by US personnel, which shows “Iraqi guards raping young boys”.

Former Governor Jesse Ventura today offered a solution to the controversy surrounding President Obama’s decision to reverse an earlier promise to release the torture photos - let Ventura see the photos on behalf of the American people and then decide if they should be released.

Ventura told the Alex Jones Show today, “How about if I step forward on behalf of the taxpayers and the citizens of the great United States of America - and I wanna go public with this - I will represent us, let me go where these photos are, let me go inside and see them and let me come out and report back as to what these photos are.”

“I think I have the right to do that, I think they have no right to keep me from doing that, you know why? I pay their salaries and I’m a governor, I’m a mayor, I’m a former Navy SEAL, I had a top secret security clearance - I think I’m fully qualified to walk in and view these photos,” said Ventura, adding, “I’ll report to the public, what it is why we shouldn’t be able to see them because I understand it could infuriate the enemy, but I’m not the enemy and therefore I think I have every right to see these photos in private.”

While Congress is sidetracked by who said what to whom and when, our nation finds itself at a crossroads on the issue of torture. We are at a point where we must decide if torture is something that is now going to be considered justifiable and reasonable under certain circumstances, or is America better than that?

“Enhanced interrogation” as some prefer to call it, has been used throughout history, usually by despotic governments, to cruelly punish or to extract politically useful statements from prisoners. Governments that do these things invariably bring shame on themselves.

In addition, information obtained under duress is incredibly unreliable, which is why it is not admissible in a court of law. Legally valid information is freely given by someone of sound mind and body. Someone in excruciating pain, or brought close to death by some horrific procedure is not in any state of mind to give reliable information, and certainly no actions should be taken solely based upon it.

For these reasons, it is illegal in the United States and illegal under Geneva Conventions. Simulated drowning, or water boarding, was not considered an exception to these laws when it was used by the Japanese against US soldiers in World War II. In fact, we hanged Japanese officers for war crimes in 1945 for water boarding. Its status as torture has already been decided by our own courts under this precedent. To look the other way now, when Americans do it, is the very definition of hypocrisy.

Matthew Alexander, author of How to Break a Terrorist used non-torture methods of interrogation in Iraq with much success. In fact, one cooperative jihadist told him, "I thought you would torture me, and when you didn’t, I decided that everything I was told about Americans was wrong. That’s why I decided to cooperate." Alexander also found that in Iraq “the No. 1 reason foreign fighters flocked there to fight were the abuses carried out at Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo. Our policy of torture was directly and swiftly recruiting fighters for al-Qaeda in Iraq.” Alexander’s experiences unequivocally demonstrate that losing our humanity is not beneficial or necessary in fighting terror.

The current administration has reversed its position on releasing evidence of torture by the previous administration and we must ask why. A great and moral nation would have the courage to face the truth so it could abide by the rule of law. To look the other way necessarily implicates all of us and would of course further radicalize people against our troops on the ground. Instead, we have the chance to limit culpability for torture to those who were truly responsible for these crimes against humanity.

Not everyone who was given illegal orders obeyed them. Many FBI agents understood that an illegal order must be disobeyed and they did so. The others must be held accountable, so that all of us are not targeted for blowback for the complicity of some.

The government’s own actions and operations in torturing people, and in acting on illegally obtained and unreliable information to kill and capture, are the most radicalizing forces at work today, not any religion, nor the fact that we are rich and free. The fact that our government engages in evil behavior under the auspices of the American people is what poses the greatest threat to the American people, and it must not be allowed to stand.

In exclusive, yet-unseen video filmed months ago, former governor Jesse Ventura outlines views he holds on waterboarding and "enhanced interrogations" with Alex Jones that he is only now espousing all across the mainstream media– including recent appearances on The View, Fox News and Larry King Live.

Ventura suggests that Dick Cheney should be waterboarded before supporting the controversial torture technique– but doesn’t believe his ‘weak heart’ would be able to survive the undergoing.

Ventura himself was waterboarded as part of his SERE school training and feels that no one who has been subjected to the treatment would ever advocate its systematic use.

"Our country today is not the country I defended back in the 70s. In those days, you still had to be charged with a crime before you were guilty of it– and had to be charged even to be held. Today, it seems they can hold you as long as they want to– its absurd," Ventura added.

In a telephone conversation with RAW STORY, Pulitzer-winning investigative journalist Seymour Hersh refuted reports that he told an Arab television network that former Vice President Dick Cheney ordered the assassination of former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.

“We’ve tried to reach out to people in the media that we know and correct this,” confirmed Alexa Cassanos, director of public relations at The New Yorker, speaking to this reporter. “We’re not even sure where this came from.”

Web sites which appear to be based in India and Pakistan reported that Hersh made the allegation during an interview with “an Arab television channel.” Outlets which reported this include thenation.com.pk (no affiliation with U.S. news magazine The Nation), webindia123.com, thaindian.com and dawn.com.

The stories also falsely allege Hersh said former Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon was key to the plot.

The only Arab television channel to interview Hersh recently is Gulf News, which spoke to him during the Arab Media Forum in Dubai. In the interview, Hersh does not even mention Bhutto’s name, but does condemn former Vice President Cheney for running an “executive assassination ring” which carried out operations all over the world.

“In Cheney’s view this isn’t murder, but carrying out the ‘war on terror,’” he said. “And in the view of me and my friends, including people in government, this is crazy. The vice president is committing a crime. You can’t authorize the murder of people. And it’s not just in Iraq and Afghanistan, it’s in a lot of other countries, in the Middle East and in South Asia and North Africa and even central America.”

“If true, these operations violate longstanding U.S. policy regarding covert actions and illegally bypass Congressional oversight,” said Congressman Dennis Kucinich (D-OH), in reaction to the allegation. “Hersh is within a year or more of releasing a book that is said to include evidence of this allegation. However, we cannot wait a year or more to establish the truth.”

Kucinich wrote Congressman Edolphus Towns (D-NY), who chairs the House Oversight Committee, to request an investigation into Hersh’s claims. None has been announced.

After 8 years of the Bush-Cheney nightmare during which we saw the wanton destruction of Afghanistan and Iraq, the cynical negation of centuries of Law designed to protect the most basic human rights and a foreign policy worthy of Genghis Khan, there came along the “Great Black Hope” in the persona of Barack Obama. The collective world consciousness turned uncritically to what was presented as a new era for peace, change and trust in Government.

Never before had one witnessed such an accomplished use of manipulation, propaganda, imagery and public relations wizardry to sell the public a man who was to take the baton from Bush and run with it in the race to destroy the economy, the rights of the people and help birth a nation totally controlled by those who have always lurked in the shadows of power. “Change” was promised and was delivered in the form of a deepening of the already Dystopic nightmare.

Promises were broken with no apology, the same creative legalese that infested the Bush administration, in the form of John Yoo and Alberto Gonzalez, was again used to deny justice to the inmates of Guantanamo, It was used to justify more torture, more destruction of the Constitution and more illegal surveillance of U.S. citizens.

The President that extended the hand of peace to the Muslim world has murdered hundreds of Pakistani men, women and children. The President who promised accountability in Government has filled his staff with lobbyists, banksters and warmongers. His Attorney General refuses to prosecute some of the worst war crimes committed in modern history and continues to give legal cover to criminals who tortured with impunity.

The country has been further bankrupted by the continuing theft of taxpayer money as the Wall St. campaign donors receive their quid pro quo. Obama has stood by idly as Bernancke states that the private Federal Reserve is not answerable to either Congress of the American public. The U.S. taxpayer is now on the hook for $14.3 Trillion and rising. Foreclosures and unemployment are rising with no meaningful efforts by the administration to alleviate the symptoms, never mind the cause. The new image of America is one of tent cities, lengthening soup kitchen lines, sherrifs evicting countless thousands of young and old from their homes, once prosperous towns descending in to an eerie stillness and an increasingly disillusioned populace.

Homeland Security now defines “Terrorists” as those who believe in the Constitution, the first, second and fourth amendments. Returning veterans are being targeted for a denial of their second amendment rights. A “Terrorist Watchlist” of more than a million and rapidly growing, is being used as the basis for denying citizens the rights to travel and to work.

Obama is now mulling over the idea of indefinite detention without trial for U.S. citizens. This, from a teacher of the Constitution ! Bills are in congress to criminalize free speech on the Internet via the Cyberbullying Act which will make hurting somebody’s feelings a felony. Just like the Patriot Act this will morph in to a criminalization of political free speech and any criticism of the Government.

“Cyberterrorism” is being used as a pretext to bring government regulation to the the last stronghold of unbiased information. Washington has realized that it’s getting harder to get away with their Fascist agenda and are moving to control the field. The populace have become more aware of just what kind of “Change” Obama intended to deliver.

There has been a growing resistance on a state level with several invoking their 9th and 10th Amendment rights in a valiant attempt to stop the Federal Vampire from draining the last drops of blood, the last vestiges of Freedom and Hope.

This is the Dystopic Nightmare that America finds itself in today and each day brings new assaults on Freedom and Sanity. The framework for total control of the citizenry, the economy and the media is being built upon in a relentless aggrandization of Govermental power. Obama sits atop his new Empire still smiling that sickeningly disingenuous smile surrounded by his seasoned courtiers who have worked for decades to bring America in to this new era of the New World Order.

The corporate media has linked teen idol Miley Cyrus, who plays schoolgirl rock star Hannah Montana in the hit Disney series and movie, to an unconstitutional bill now working its way through Congress.

According to Reuters, Cyrus recently posted an angry tirade on her Twitter web page in response to criticism about her weight. “Those remarks that you hateful people use are fighting words, the ones that scar people and cause them to do damage to themselves or others,” the teenager wrote. “Kids hurt themselves. This is not something to be taken lightly.”

The First Amendment of the Constitution shouldn’t be taken lightly, either. If passed, the Megan Meier Cyberbullying Prevention Act (HR 1966) would outlaw speech meant to “coerce, intimidate, harass, or cause substantial emotional distress to a person.” According to the text of the bill, individuals who “bully” others via any electronic means could face fines, two years in prison, or both. Critics call it the Censorship Act of 2009.

As UCLA Law Professor Eugene Volokh noted on his blog, a number of common situations could be considered felonious under the language of the bill. “I try to coerce a politician into voting a particular way, by repeatedly blogging (using a hostile tone) about what a hypocrite/campaign promise breaker/fool/etc. he would be if he voted the other way. I am transmitting in interstate commerce a communication with the intent to coerce using electronic means (a blog) ‘to support severe, repeated, and hostile behavior’ — unless, of course, my statements aren’t seen as ’severe,’ a term that is entirely undefined and unclear,” Volokh wrote.

Volokh’s example is demonstrative. If the bill becomes law it will undoubtedly be used by government and political groups to go after opponents and critics. The Megan Meier Cyberbullying Prevention Act is less about assuaging the crushed feelings of teenagers and others easily hurt by insults and taunting than it is about shutting down the free speech of targeted individuals and groups.

The Anti-Defamation League is a strong supporter of the bill. “Research by the Anti-Defamation League found as many as half of U.S. teenagers are affected by cyber-bullying, whether through emails, instant messaging, cellphones, texting or websites, with the anonymity of electronic media emboldening bullies,” reports Reuters.

The ADL is a special interest group dedicated to shutting down the free speech of people accused of defaming the Jewish people and allegedly engaging in bigotry and other forms of racism (incidentally protected by the First Amendment). It is not specifically interested in protecting the feelings of teenagers teased because they are fat.

In March of this year, the ADL described Joe Banister, Tommy Cryer, Pat Shannan, Dave Von Kleist, Jack McLamb, Greg Dixon, Ted Gunderson, and Michael Badnarik as “extremist speakers.”

In April, the group attempted to link talk show host Alex Jones to the accused cop killer Richard Poplawski. “One of Poplawski’s favorite places for such conspiracy theories was the Web site of the right-wing conspiracy radio talk show host Alex Jones. Poplawski visited the site, Infowars, frequently, shared links to it with others, and sometimes even posted to it,” the ADL wrote on its website.

The Megan Meier Cyberbullying Prevention Act would allow the ADL and other groups to effectively shut down the First Amendment for individuals they believe promote “hate speech,” that is to say speech not considered politically correct by favored groups (i.e., federally protected minorities). It would allow the government to shut down “hate” radio (conservative, libertarian, and patriot radio) without reimposing the so-called Fairness Doctrine. It would theoretically criminalize talk show hosts such as Alex Jones, Micheal Savage, and others who call for government officials to be arrested and tried for treason.

Moreover, the bill would put a federally-imposed damper on the internet where the democratization of speech is widely accepted, much to the displeasure of the government and protected groups intolerant of criticism.

“Put simply, this legislation would be used as a tool for a judge and jury to determine whether there is significant evidence to prove that a person ‘cyberbullied’ another,” wrote the bill’s sponsor, Rep. Linda Sanchez. “That is: did they have the required intent, did they use electronic means of communication, and was the communication severe, hostile, and repeated?”

Free speech — especially free political speech — is often severe, hostile, and repeated. If enacted, the Megan Meier Cyberbullying Prevention Act would turn passionate and even vehement political speech into a crime punishable by two years in prison.

According to the founders, political speech was the only kind of free speech that government was strictly required to permit, as free speech is a natural right. Ten of the fourteen early state constitutions or Declarations of Rights, including the Bill of Rights to the U.S. Constitution, name freedom of speech and the press as a fundamental right.

Rep. Linda Sanchez and the supporters of this bill would deny that natural and god-given right.

President Obama is expected to announce late this week that he will create a “cyber czar,” a senior White House official who will have broad authority to develop strategy to protect the nation’s government-run and private computer networks, according to people who have been briefed on the plan.

The adviser will have the most comprehensive mandate granted to such an official to date and will probably be a member of the National Security Council but will report to the national security adviser as well as the senior White House economic adviser, said the sources, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because the deliberations are not final.

The announcement will coincide with the long-anticipated release of a 40-page report that evaluates the government’s cybersecurity initiatives and policies. The report is intended to outline a “strategic vision” and the range of issues the new adviser must handle, but it will not delve into details, administration officials told reporters last month.

Cybersecurity “is vitally important, and the government needs to be coordinated on this,” a White House official said Friday, speaking on the condition of anonymity. “The report give conclusions and next steps. It’s trying to steer us in the right direction.”

It looks like the Federal Reserve may finally have something to worry about now that HR 1207 is finally gaining serious steam. If enacted, HR 1207 will amend title 31 of the United States Code and reform the manner in which the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System is audited by the Comptroller General of the United States. In other words, for the first time since 1950, the criminals at the Federal Reserve will be forced by law to open their books.

HR 1207 was sponsored and introduced by Rep. Ron Paul. On February 26, 2009, it was referred to the House Committee on Financial Services. It now has 179 co-sponsors (see the list of sponsors below).

If passed, the bill will force the Fed to give a public accounting of the trillions of taxpayer “loans” handed over to the banksters. It will force Congress to audit the Fed and this will force out into the light of day the Fed practice of inflating the currency for the gain of a small number of international bankers. It will reveal the bankster practice of engineering financial crises and depressions — or scientifically created, as Congressman Charles A. Lindberg Sr. said after the Federal Reserve Act was passed in the dead of night — in order to consolidate illicit gains and eliminate competition (as the bankers are monopoly men).

On March 25, 2009, H.R. 1207 had 44 co-sponsors. “We’re making great progress because a lot of you have helped encourage your member of Congress to co-sponsor the bill,” Ron Paul said. “And to me, this is very, very important that we do this. The atmosphere in the Congress has definitely changed. It’s changed with their attitude about the Federal Reserve System, but overall there’s a tremendous push by the American people for the Congress to wake up and have more transparency… I have argued, of course, that we don’t need the Federal Reserve. It’s not part of our constitution and we should get rid of it, but it doesn’t happen that way. But if we get the audit and get the books open, make them answer the questions, I am convinced that the American people will be so outraged that then we will have reform of the monetary system.”

Imagine Ben Bernanke, shorn of his arrogance, dragged before Congress and compelled to answer questions. In the not too distant past, this prospect was a remote dream, but now, thanks to Ron Paul and all the people who have insisted their representatives support this bill, it may become law.

World economic recovery will be slow and rising unemployment could bring the threat of social crisis and protectionism, World Bank President Robert Zoellick said in an interview with Spanish Sunday newspaper El Pais.

“That’s a good breeding ground for populist, protectionist policies,” he added.

“The finance ministers of the G7 and the G20 are displaying a certain relief because the contraction has slowed. Although we could still have low or negative growth, the situation is less bad,” he said.

“But economists and industrialists are conscious that the recovery will be slow coming and weaker than expected.”

Dangers remain in the U.S. financial system and in vulnerable emerging markets, Zoellick said.

Once upon a time the Boy Scouts were about camping, backpacking, and canoeing. Boy Scouts were into high adventure and sporting activities. Scouts were about preventing forest fires and “Do a Good Turn Daily.” Scouts worked with the Salvation Army and the Red Cross. They cherished ideals such as the Cub Scout Promise and the Law of the Pack.

Now the Boy Scouts have a new mission — fighting terrorism, rounding up illegal aliens, search and destroying marijuana fields, and embracing the SWAT mentality.

“The Explorers program, a coeducational affiliate of the Boy Scouts of America that began 60 years ago, is training thousands of young people in skills used to confront terrorism, illegal immigration and escalating border violence — an intense ratcheting up of one of the group’s longtime missions to prepare youths for more traditional jobs as police officers and firefighters,” reports the New York Times.

Homeland Security and the FBI are behind the effort to indoctrinate and train the Boy Scouts to become tomorrow’s Gestapo. “Our end goal is to create more agents,” April McKee, a senior Border Patrol agent, told the New York Times. “Before it was more about the basics,” said Johnny Longoria, a Border Patrol agent. “But now our emphasis is on terrorism, illegal entry, drugs and human smuggling.”

“Just as there are soccer moms, there are Explorers dads, who attend the competitions, man the hamburger grill and donate their land for the simulated marijuana field raids. In their training, the would-be law-enforcement officers do not mess around, as revealed at a recent competition on the state fairgrounds here, where a Ferris wheel sat next to the police cars set up for a felony investigation,” Jennifer Steinhauer writes for the Times.

Scouts are trained to identify the enemy. In a competition in Arizona, one role-player wore traditional Arab dress. “If we’re looking at 9/11 and what a Middle Eastern terrorist would be like,” said A. J. Lowenthal, a sheriff’s deputy in Imperial County, California, “then maybe your role-player would look like that. I don’t know, would you call that politically incorrect?”

Politically correct or not, Homeland Security and the FBI realize Arabs are not the enemy — “rightwing extremists” are.

The new Gestapo Boy Scouts program will train the new Hitler Youth — or Obama youth — for the challenges of a totalitarian globalist future. As the planned implosion of the economy unfolds and unemployment increases, the federal government is picking up the slack. “In the wake of the huge stimulus package to jumpstart the economy, plenty of new positions are being created by 2010. The agencies that will benefit include the Defense, Commerce, Homeland Security and Veterans Affairs departments,” writes Judi Hasson for Fierce Government.

Gestapo Scouts will be required to combat “rightwing extremists” who will refuse to turn in their firearms after the next false flag terror attack or engineered pandemic. SWAT Scouts will be called to deal with those who refuse to participate in mandatory vaccinations. Police state Scouts will be the vanguard for Obama’s million-man Civilian National Security Corps. “just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded” as the military.

It’s up to the New York Times, as the premier “liberal” propaganda outfit, to sell the militarization of the Boy Scouts to the American people, using the standard bugaboos of Arab terrorists, drug cartel thugs, and marijuana cultivators as the example of why all of this is necessary.

In the real world, however, government is not primarily concerned with drug dealers — after all, the government and Wall Street run most of the drugs — they are worried about growing opposition to the destruction of the Constitution and the imposition of world government by a cabal of international bankers and their corporate fascist partners in crime.

Former Presidential Advisor David Gergen pushes more than 70 service organizations into a ‘new order’ of shared sacrifice

Behind globalist David Gergen is the real sense of "change" that came in with Barack Obama’s election. The enthusiasm for this new president was met with calls for service and sacrifice– and that is something former presidential advisor Gergen put on the agenda years ago.

Gergen now lectures in public service at Harvard and directs its Center for Public Leadership at the John F. Kennedy School of Government.

Prior to the 2008 election, he was among those pushing for an expansion of Americorps from some 75,000 to more than 250,000 volunteers. That increase was quickly approved– by that exact number– under the passage of the National Service Act in the opening weeks of the Obama Administration.

One face of that expansion of service has come in City Year, on whose board David Gergen sits. In 2007, Gergen also helped push some 70 other groups through the ‘America Forward’ coalition along with a ‘venture philanthropy fund’ called New Profit, Inc. One of its groups was even founded by Gen. Colin Powell.

Gergen wrote that his first visit to City Year "was electrifying… there was so much vitality in the room that I came back and said, ‘I’m almost ready to give up my day job and go over there and work with them’."

David Gergen is perhaps the most vocal proponent of a new wave of ’social entrepreneurs’ whose businesses are modeled on a ‘more-than-profit’ basis. Most of these groups aim to incorporate a partnership between the public & private sectors (sometimes known as fascism). In other words, Gergen hopes such privately-conceived organizations can benefit from government funds:

City Year, among other groups, not only purports to help communities, but requires its members to undergo physical training (PT) and other activities reminiscent of a paramilitary organization. In fact, it sounds a lot like White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel’s 2006 warning to a reporter that compulsory service would include "jumping jacks."

While that in itself is not so troubling, Emanuel made clear that such service organizations would also step up in a time of national crisis:

In fact, Americorps and its subsidiary organizations, including City Year, fall under the umbrella of the Department of Homeland Security. This is also true of the private (*but government affiliated) Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) . The blurring between the lines of public and private is, again, noticeable and potentially troubling.

David Gergen has criticized that Vietnam generation for failing to come together in a common cause, suggesting that collective sacrifice is part of what made the "greatest generation" of WWII so good. In March of 2007, he told the graduate students of the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas– who are coming in behind the Baby Boomer generation– that they can hope to "restore some sense that we’re all in this together– in the sense of not only building a better America, but a better world."

In a write-up about City Year, USA Today, recently noted the rise in service among the largely pro-Obama ‘millennial’ generation. They may have been inspired by disasters such as 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina, along with the added motivation of mandatory programs.

David Gergen has long been an advocate of service. Wikipedia even notes the government servant and CNN correspondent as a "well-known proponent of mandatory national service."

It was Gergen who helped put on the ‘Service Forum’ on anniversary of September 11th during the 2008 campaign. Both McCain and Obama spoke in favor of greater service. Obama reiterated the need for a ‘civilian defense force’, restated his national service plan and prepared people for an era of sacrifice– including requirements on fuel emissions, energy efficiency and other "green" measures. Obama further emphasized the need to get youth involved in service from an early age.

Children as young as seven are being recruited by councils to act as ‘citizen snoopers’, the Daily Mail can reveal.

There are currently almost 9,000 people signed up to the schemes. More are likely to be recruited in the coming months.

Controversially, some councils are running ‘junior’ schemes which are recruiting children.

After basic training, volunteers are expected to be the ‘eyes and the ears’ of the town hall.

They are given information packs about how to collect evidence, including tips about writing down numberplates, which could later be used in criminal prosecutions.

Luton Borough Council’s Street Seen scheme encourages its 650 volunteers to report ‘environmental concerns’. It is also recruiting ‘Junior Street Champions’, aged between seven and 11.

Similarly, Islington Council in north London has recruited 1,200 ‘Islington Eyes’ to report crime hotspots, fly-tipping and excess noise from DIY.

Volunteers are given a list of things to do when confronted with fly-tippers, including taking photos ‘without being seen’.

A growing army of private security guards and town hall snoopers with sweeping police-style powers is being quietly established, the Daily Mail can reveal.

Under a Home Office-run scheme, people such as park wardens, dog wardens, car park attendants and shopping centre guards receive the powers if they undergo training, and pay a small fee to their local police force.

Their powers include issuing £60 fines for truancy and dropping litter, and being able to demand a person’s name and address on the street.

Under the Community Safety Accreditation Scheme, the number of civilians wearing a special badge, and a uniform approved by the local chief constable, has rocketed by almost 30 per cent in a year and there are now 1,406.

Critics claim Home Secretary Jacqui Smith is quietly seeking to create a third-tier within the ‘policing family’, with even less training and accountability than the controversial Police Community Support Officers.

I live in a Midwestern state. Near me is a huge shooting range, which is going to be put out of business by the EPA. Just before the completion of this article, the owner, call him W, of this particular range has unfortunately demanded that I not use his name or specify which range I am discussing in this article. I think this is a mistake on his part, but I have to honor it. This issue of shutting down this range is so large, so interconnected to all the issues that the infowars.com/prisonplanet.com audience is concerned with, that I will go at length into all the issues in detail in this article. At first, you might think, “ah, shutting down this range is just more of the same tricks by the New World Order.” And that’s true, of course. But there is something much bigger, deeper to this that I think most people are missing: the New World Order is trying to kill gun culture, and this is more important than their trying to destroy the Second Amendment. So, before we get into this story of this particular gun range, let’s first discuss why this story is so important: indeed, a core issue.

Amid all our discussion in the Patriot alternative media about the New World Order’s covert plans to remove the Second Amendment in America, we are perhaps not putting enough energy into what is conceivably an even deeper issue: the New World Order wants to destroy the ultra-powerful spirit of the American gun culture. Destroying the Second Amendment is actually not the most important issue in the New World Order attack against our inalienable right to self-protection. It is the second most important. Here’s why…

Creating so-called “laws” (i.e., supposed “divine right” orders) to ban guns in America will not remove our guns or self-protection abilities. Too many of us are stocked up, loaded up, and know how to make crossbows or 12 gauge shotguns from raw parts. So, if King Obama and the moneybags behind him attempt to ban our guns, it will essentially do nothing but make us more determined to protect ourselves, since we will have the means. So, we can expect that the New World Order knows this, of course, and they are thus going deeper into the issue, to more of the heart of the matter, to really, successfully disarm us. How do you do that? You don’t just destroy the Second Amendment, you destroy the popularity of the Second Amendment, you destroy the spirit of the Second Amendment. If Grandpa is not thinking about the Second Amendment in his sleep, so to speak (that’s “the spirit” I just referred to), then he will not be preoccupied with it, and if he’s not, he won’t teach his grandson how to, for example, make a shotgun from plywood and pile. That removes our self-protection faster than removing the laws will. That removes our means for self-protection. This is where the New World Order is really focusing their attack in their attack against our inalienable right to self-protection. But, unfortunately, most patriots in America think the fight is in Congress, with HR 1022, for example, and not in the deep psychological warfare going on against gun culture. This psych warfare is mostly invisible: we are not looking for it, we don’t expect it, and thus we don’t see it, even though “it’s written on the wall.”

The spirit of gun culture will live on even if King Obama tries to obliterate the Second Amendment, as stated. So, what is really needed, from the New World Order’s perspective, is the destruction of gun culture. You know, this is so critical, it almost makes me think that all these redundant bills on Congress are just a distraction for the gun culture, getting us all riles up over them, while they are not even the issue (since they won’t destroy gun culture, as stated). It’s almost as if all these bills in Congress are meant to grab our attention, while the real war— the multi-fronted war on gun culture — goes on right under our noses, but where we are too distracted to see it! If we are so riled up about HR 1022, then who is paying attention to the EPA’s attack on shooting ranges? Answer: nobody! And HR 1022 sits there not fully implemented, while the EPA goes around utterly destroying shooting ranges (and the heart of American gun culture). Again, victory for the New World Order, simply because we are not using our huge brains we have been given!

So, let’s talk about why American gun culture is so, so important. Already there is an overwhelmingly unanimous agreement by the denizens of gun culture that Obama is attempting to take-over and destroy Constitutionalism. Literally, every single time I am in any gun shop or range, even if it’s just a tiny tackle shop that only sells a few wimpy .22 Marlin rifles, I instantly find myself in a discussion with the owner of the shop, or, for example, with the guy sitting there having a cigarette talking to the owner and obviously a regular customer, and it’s like magic, we get into this same intellectual discussion about the current takeover of America. And wherever I go in gun culture, the people I meet are somewhat informed, too. I mean, if I go to church or the university, and start talking about Obama, I have to search far and wide for just one single person who even have just one tiny teeny complaint against the system or against King Obama, or who will have even just one small morsel of information, a single, real factual datum, about what is going on politically in the world (they are too busy debating global warming, gay marriage, sports, their self-help groups, or who knows what). But in gun culture, everyone is informed, at least, let’s say, 20 percent, so to speak (and that’s light years ahead of the aforementioned church and university people!). I think we can see why the EPA is not attacking churches and universities. This issue, I think, could not be clearer folks!

Even little informed members of gun culture, who, for example, vaccinate their children and still think 9/11 was done by “cave people,” will readily agree about, and know several key scary details about, the current financial takeover of We the People. This is the number one subject at shooting ranges and gun shops nationwide these days, from what I can tell; and it’s a very energetic, often cerebral discussion. Discussing AR-15s, the Constitution, ammo shortages, movies, Thomas Jefferson, and AK-47s seems to take a backseat to this topic day-in, day-out at all the ranges and shops I have been to in several states. Again, even those at the shooting ranges and gun shops who are relatively uninformed, and, for example, who voted for John McCain, believing that was different than voting for King Obama, enthusiastically take part in this unanimous agreement and worry that there is something really amiss like never before, that there is a banking takeover and a Sovietization of America being attempted by Obama and Big Money right now.

So, gun culture is, I think, some sort of a revolutionary movement in the making, even if all its members don’t really know it or see it that way yet. There is, quite simply, no more intellectual, passionate, activist group in the United States (excluding much much smaller groups, like We Are Change). (Yes intellectual! I am a former college teacher for the past decade, and the level of intellectual discussion in the shooting ranges and gun shops dwarfs that of the academic institutions, since discussion in academic institutions usually just is over some “specialized” topic over-and-over [such as experiments on the last GMO soy bean], if even that “brainy”, but usually academic just take part in more of the same talk as the rest of culture does: about TV, fake churches, environmentalism, consumerism, the weather, worshiping Obama, etc.)

So, think about all this: If you were the New World Order, would you just go after our guns, or would you also go after this ultra-powerful gun culture? Of course you’d go after both. But also ask yourself this: Which would you go after more fervently? The answer quickly pops in your head again: of course you’d go after the culture itself more-so than the guns. And this is precisely what is going on, and I fear that in all our discussion of King Obama’s decrees to remove our self-protection, we are missing perhaps a bigger issue: gun culture itself is under all-out attack! Now, let’s consider a crystal clear example: the range near my house which is being shut down right now by the EPA.

Every Tuesday through Sunday, for a decade, people have congregated to a large gun range near my house. Again, when writing this article, the owner of this range prohibited me from disclosing which range this is, over his fear of the $1000 per day fines that the EPA is looming over their heads. (I would just like to say, for the record, that I think the owner is making a mistake in doing this.) This particular large range is a family business, run by an old patriot, call him W, and his son, call him P. The mom is typically there too; she’s a dispatcher for the Police Department. Oh, and their dog is also often there, too. This is the heart of the gun culture. But let’s discuss why these details are important (hint: real community is the enemy of the New World Order).

The range has a nice lobby in it where members and non-members alike talk and have a good time daily, in-between shooting sessions. Almost always, conversation at the range is vivid and lively, for hours on end, with many people involved, discussing the Constitution, the Bible, the Founders, socialism versus capitalism, the Federalist Papers, Obama’s banking takeover, talk radio, and, when I am there, infowars.com. But the discussion is, perhaps surprisingly, almost always intellectual discussion—surprisingly because this sort of intellection is vanishingly rare anywhere in America. As stated above, even in my ten years as a college philosophy teacher I did not encounter the other professors involved in such frequent high-level intellectualism—not even close! One is immediately struck when they enter this range how different this atmosphere is from really anywhere else in the United States (the same is true throughout gun culture from coast to coast, and amid Canada’s small gun culture). If you try to start up this sort of intellectual conversation with almost anyone, in any other part of culture outside of gun culture (such as at the average job, or in the churches or universities), it not only almost never reaches the level of intellection that the gun culture conversations do, but furthermore, it is usually a complete joke, quickly gravitating to merely repeating (parroting) what Larry King has recently said on TV, or whatever the Big Government propaganda was that Shawn Hannity happened to belch out on Faux News the night before.

Unless you are entrenched in gun culture, you have no idea that this is what it is like, and you probably think it’s just a bunch of toothless grunting in-breeders, because you saw something like that in the movie Deliverance or some other Hollywood propaganda production. But for true gun culture, it’s really an intellectual community more than anything else, in many ways. This is the case everywhere in gun culture! And this is why it’s dangerous to the New World Order.

Go to a gun shop, and everybody instantly has this invisible bond: we are all bound by the same values: Constitution, guns, pride, family (and very often, but not quite always, religion, too). And these invisible strings we have with one another are powerful; we can all feel them between each other. It’s like we all instantly know what the other is thinking about, we are all long lost friends, and we all want to talk about it. If you are not in gun culture, you don’t know what I am talking about. If you are, you do.

Where else in America is there continually such a congregation of concerned, Constitutionalist Americans who are passionate, involved, intellectual, and, frankly, not zombified and prozaced-out in front of their televisions? I simply cannot think of any other place; nothing is even close. In fact, almost every other place, or any other group, in the United States, is, without exaggeration, zombified in the aforementioned way, and thus, gun culture really sticks out as being a pocket of patriotism and intellectualism.

This type of unification, pride, and bonding among people is the ultimate enemy of the New World Order. It is exactly what can bring them down. And, in fact, if the members of gun culture (which is tens of millions, and which most may not even know they form such a big nationwide group) were just a little more informed on a few things about the New World Order, they would bring down the New World Order with ease by morning, restoring 1776. This is why it’s an “info war.” And if this economic downturn and Sovietization keeps up at its current pace, many in the massive gun culture will perhaps start seeing just a little more clearly than they do now, and they will wake up a little bit more, just enough, and they will know just that little bit more they need to know to awaken them properly to what is at stake and to the danger they are in. We are close to that point now; perhaps halfway there, so to speak.

So, let’s get to the heart of the issues by getting back to the aforementioned range that is being shut down near me here in the Midwest… Following what we have written above, this sort of place is the enemy of the Orwellian world government that is now forming, as stated. And, as we discussed, this New World Order, we can expect, will attack it with all its fury. And guess what? That’s precisely what’s happening to this range. This particular shooting range is going to be shut down by the EPA. Under what reason, you ask? Environmental code violations. The more technical name for this is communitarianism — a word all of you better get acclimated to real fast! (Hint, look up Niki Rapaana on the internet, and that will give you a good start.)

In a nutshell, communitarianism is a philosophy that, unbeknownst to basically all of us (no kidding!), is being written into our city codes and laws. It is all about “what is good for the group”, and it is all about castigating the individual. This is why if you want to build an underground house or cabin in the woods so that you don’t have to pay for heat and air-conditioning, and because you want to have a hideaway or cabin that is inexpensive, hidden, and, well, quite quiet and cozy, you can’t do it, because you have to get permission from the city government and their “certified experts” to do this (it’s city government, but the whole operation comes from the New World Order, of course). And they will say, “oh, no, for your safety, you can’t do that, thanks.” Also, communitarian philosophy is why you have to pay for construction inspections, or even have them in the first place if you are building a house or building. As if we need that, and as if building were just falling down routinely before these city communists took over to “help” us learn how to build properly. Communitarianism is why your school is now all tied to environmentalism and why your children have to learn about gay marriage before they learn about Thomas Jefferson — because communitarianism is all about what is good for community, and oh, of course, the things that are good for community are not guns, religion, empirical science books, and smashing our televisions. No no! We are quietly told, in so many different ways, that what is good for the community is, for example, environmental protection, neighborhood watch, meth watch, spying on your neighbors to make sure they are not growing pot in their backyard garden, and so on. That’s why we have these neighborhood community meetings; not to discuss the Constitution (a person bringing that up at one of those meetings would sure get some head-turns), but to discuss the community (communitarian) priorities (i.e., New World Order philosophies). We go to these meetings just passively allowing the debate to be set before we get involved, rather than beforehand controlling what will be debated in the first place. I don’t have time to discuss it here, but this communitarian agenda has been in the planning since before many of you reading this were born. It’s all secret, and it’s all, um, “for your safety,” of course. Sadly, it’s all too distant from what most Americans can accept about reality, and so they will just not believe something like this is real; they have been conditioned to think at an ESPN-level of reality, unfortunately.

So, back to the gun range… Communitarianism is also, ultimately, why the range is going to be put out of business. In a New World Order community (i.e., a local communitarian setup), we have to watch out for what is good for the disarmed, uneducated, TV-watching herd—Constitutionalists don’t fit into the New World Order’s communitarian city-planning. They are not for that type of a community. So, what is good for this zombic herd, according to the gods of communitarianism? Well, what is good for the herd is a safe clean world (how many times have you heard something like that on TV?), and the shooting range near me of course must conform to this, so the story goes.

So, what the EPA has done is told the range that they have to go out of business all summer (a prime business time), for at least five months, in order to put in a brand new, ultra-expensive ceiling ventilation system in (the range, of course, has taken out a massive loan for this, which they were approved for by less than a hair — actually, it’s still up in the air, no pun intended).

and so forth—how are they to stay open and survive in such a scenario? Answer: of course they cannot! They know that, we (who are connected to the range) know that, but the EPA, well, they just seem not to know that, somehow; but they don’t really get into that issue too much.

So, long story short: The EPA just found a clever way to put this range out of business. This accomplishes many New World Order goals, perhaps the highest goals the New World Order has: to destroy the gun culture, for reasons discussed above. Where else, now, will the gun owners congregate? Answer: nowhere.

The EPA won’t attack the factories here in town that are dumping toxic waste into the river that flows through town. No way! They are too busy attack the range (and gun culture), which, if it really were a polluter, affects only a fraction of people compared to the river-polluting factory. The EPA won’t attack the ocean boats and submarines worldwide that use sonar, and which is responsible for killing whales by the beach-full. Nope. Have to focus on those scary guys at the shooting range. The EPA won’t attack the Chinese for all their mind-boggling pollution the produce as they make all the slave-produced goods for Wal Mart. The government won’t create forces to monitor the US-Mexico border. No way! Instead they create forces (environmental harassment forces) to monitor the gun owners (i.e., the Constitutionalists). It does not get any clearer than this folks. The government is huge, out of control, focused on one thing: coming after you, both non-communitarians and those who go along with communitarianism alike!

The average TV-watching, hot-dog-eating American probably could never see that this is what is going on—that the EPA is a secret force being used for many freedom-taking operations, such as destroying gun culture. It’s too complex for them to piece together when they have to think about an episode of American Idol coming on soon. They will just believe that, “oh, shutting down the Range is for the earth,” because they have been conditioned to have that sort of a mantra repeating through their head all day every day due to how many times they’ve heard it on television. They probably also wouldn’t notice, if they could glance away from their telescreens long enough, that the EPA in my town is starkly ignoring all the atrocious (and I mean really atrocious!) factories in town that are polluting the rivers and air: they have HUGE smoke stacks all over town that everyone has to breath all day and night (and one of them is the company that makes Aspartame! Yeah, what’s coming out of that smoke stack is really healthy, I am sure). I am not kidding! Go to the university here on the edge of town, across the river, and all the way over there, on many days, you will smell the exhaust from the factories constantly while you walk through the beautiful campus. Ask any student; they will know what you are talking about. So, is this safe? “Oh, of course,” the EPA will tell us (by fiat), just like Aspartame is so safe and wonderful. It’s sort of funny, one of these massive polluting factories is literally right across the street from the range! Everyone complains about these factories all the time, a very visible issue. But is the EPA addressing this complaint of the people? Come on, what kind of a question is that?

If the exhaust is so bad for us to breathe in the shooting range that is under attack, then why hasn’t it affected W and P (the owner and his son), who have literally been there at the range 50 hours per week breathing in all the air for a decade? Answer: because it’s not harmful! But hey, who is really asking that sort of a technical question, anyway, at the EPA. It’s funny: I don’t remember voting for the members of the EPA, or for what their agendas were to be, or for them to even come into existence in the first place. You know, how much of this big government do we vote in anyway. The answer to that is an easy one.

A CBS News clip out of California that was prominently featured on the front page of Yahoo.com today showed the LAPD melting down 40,000lbs worth of “illegal weapons” to ‘”prevent them ending up on the streets in the hands of criminals” and yet most of the guns shown were perfectly legal and were handed in by law-abiding citizens who had kept them in their own homes.

The sheer gall of the propaganda on show here is staggering, because for anyone who doesn’t have a decent knowledge of firearms, the clip leaves the impression that guns are illegal and owned by criminals - despite the fact that the vast majority of the guns shown being melted down, many of them rifles and pistols, are perfectly legal.

“We’re taking illegal weapons off the streets and putting them to better use,” states the LAPD officer at the end of the clip, failing to mention the fact that most of the guns being destroyed are perfectly legal and were handed in by law-abiding citizens who had kept them at home.

The anchor states, “Weapons that could have ended up in the hands of criminals are melted down,” implying that the LAPD is doing everyone a favor by destroying legal firearms owned by law-abiding citizens.

Only fully automatic firearms can be deemed “illegal,” yet most of the guns shown in the clip, which include a M1 carbine, used in deer hunting, a Walther PPK pistol, as well as a Winchester Ranger Model 120 shotgun, are completely legal to own.

One officer shows a “street sweeper” ‘Tommy gun’ noting that it is “very dangerous” implying that it is illegal when in fact, though the gun is hard to procure in the U.S., it is not illegal.

The news anchor makes out that the guns were delivered “off the streets” and yet an LAPD officer later admits, “It’s not just criminals but people who have them in their homes that really didn’t want them - that’s where you get the kids accidentally shooting themselves.”

Here’s a newsflash - hardened criminals who plan to commit more criminal acts in future are not going to blithely hand their guns in to the police. The vast majority of people who handed in their legally owned guns, or “illegal weapons” as the LAPD would make out, for this buyback program are now totally defenseless from a home invasion by a real criminal.

This news clip featured on the front page of Yahoo.com, the most visited website in the world, for hours today, meaning that millions of viewers now think that legal firearms are in fact “illegal weapons” that should be handed in to police and melted down.

Video: Cop Slams Innocent Man Head First Into A Coma
Seattle police defend brutal action

Video was released late last week of an innocent man being slammed head first into a wall by a Seattle police officer, in an exchange that has left the victim in a coma.

29-year-old Christopher Harris was left in a critical condition after a sheriff's deputy twice his size forcibly rammed him, sending him flying against the side of a building.

The footage shows Mr Harris's head thrown forward sharply as his body slams against the pavement.

Mr Harris had been pursued by deputies after a witness wrongly identified him as a suspect in an assault, reported AP.

A lawyer for the family of Mr Harris has said the video and witness accounts show that he was a victim of excessive force by Deputy Matthew Paul, aged 26.

"We believe the actions of Deputy Paul were, at best, horribly brutal and, at worst, criminal,” said attorney Sim Osborn. He added that he has no reason to believe the deputies did not immediately identify themselves.

The King County sheriff's department has defended the officer's actions, adding that the officer "did not violate policy".

"The bottom line is we don't know why he ran,” said Sgt. John Urquhart, adding that there was probable cause to arrest Mr Harris and calling the incident a "tragic accident".

This is just a guess, but perhaps the fact that Harris was faced with a charging man built like a brick outhouse about to body slam him into the end of next week caused him to be somewhat afraid and to run?

Harris’ family has asked for an independent investigation by the Washington State Patrol.

Britain is to have a national network of cameras and computers that automatically log and track car license plates, in a move described as “secretive and unregulated” by privacy advocates.

“Police forces across England, Wales and Scotland will soon be able to share the information on one central computer.” the report states.

Local councils all over the country are queuing up to connect their existing CCTV cameras to the national system. Any camera, if high enough resolution, can be adapted to work with the new software.

Critics have pointed to incidents where “undesirables”, such as people who have taken part in anti-war rallies, have already had their cars marked by police and added to a central “hotlist”.

Some have been stopped in their cars by anti-terror police units and questioned under threat of arrest for no good reason.

“This is a system meant for criminals but John Catt has not been convicted of anything and on a trip to London, the pensioner found himself pulled over by an anti-terror unit.” the BBC report states.

“I was threatened under the Terrorist Act. I had to answer every question they put to me, and if there were any questions I would refuse to answer, I would be arrested. I thought to myself, what kind of world are we living in?” commented Mr Catt, who regularly attends anti-war protests.

Police have refused to acknowledge the case and will not reveal details of the number and positions of license plate cameras, citing “operational reasons”.

San Dimas, CA (May 25, 2009) – The image of an American child being strapped down and forced to take harsh cancer therapy against the will of his parents or even his own will is not a welcome thought.

All agencies of U.S. law enforcement are on a manhunt, not for suspected terrorists or even convicts escaped from prison, but rather a mother and her 13-year-old cancer-stricken son.

In a certain clash of cultures, doctors fear the boy will die if he doesn’t receive further treatment. Most patients undergo a combination of chemotherapy and low-dose radiation treatment, which has a reported 90%-plus 5-year survival rate for children of this age. But the rural family lives in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota and embraces traditional folk medicine.

It’s not like local authorities are out with search warrants. The entire armamentarium of US law enforcement agencies is out after this kid including the US Attorney’s Office, the FBI and US Marshals.

Manhunt spreads

The manhunt has spread to California. Daniel Hauser, the cancer-stricken teen, was flown to California with his mother and law enforcement officers believe she is trying to cross into Mexico to obtain alternative cancer treatment and to hide him from the law.

Daniel Hauser has Hodgkin’s lymphoma. While modern cancer treatment generally offers no cures and harsh treatments, chemotherapy with low-dose radiation is effective for children. While chemotherapy contributes to the 5-year survival of adults only about 2–3% of the time, children are an exception to the rule. Chemotherapy in childhood lymphoma is associated with prolonged survival.

However, even with such a high reported success rate, and though long-term survival data is generally good with maintenance chemotherapy, more advanced cases don’t fare so well and recurrence rates are high, which is maybe why Colleen Hauser may have refused treatment and fled from care after she viewed some x-ray films that were shown to her and radiation treatment was recommended. She was due to appear in court as she flew to California with her son and then vanished.

A Boston television station aired a report about Billy Best, a Norwell, Massachusetts man who in 1994 ran away from his parents at age 16 and only returned home when his parents consented to his own choice of alternative therapies. Talking about freedom to choose treatment, Best says “I thought we were past all that.”

Apparently Best was in communication with the Hauser’s and news reporters errantly claimed he was with Colleen and Daniel Hauser. Best says he would still resist treatment. A court ruled in his favor in 1994.

Ironically, the Hauser case comes just when radiation oncologists are questioning reports on the effectiveness of radiation treatment for Hodgkin’s lymphoma. A review of 61 trial reports that were published between 1998 and 2007, published in the February 1, 2009 issue of the Journal of Radiation Oncology Biology Physics, the official journal of the American Society for Radiation Oncology, shows major deficiencies in reports which substantiate this type of treatment. The question is, can cancer doctors assure with certainty that the treatment is science-based, something the new administration in Washington DC is pushing.

Conventional cancer treatment consists of harsh drugs and radiation to kill cancer cells in the lymph fluid. But this treatment never addresses the cause of the cancer, which is probably why recurrence rates are high. Childhood Hodgkin’s lymphoma is associated with Epstein-Barr infection, a type of Herpes virus.

Modern cancer therapy ignores any attempt to boost the immune system. Crude studies conducted in the 1930s led to abandonment of therapies to boost the activity of white blood cells. Today, immunotherapy is coming back into vogue and many of the molecules being considered are natural rather than man-made.

Vitamin D, resveratrol commonly found in red wine, quercetin found in red apple peel, omega-3 fatty acids in fish and flaxseed oil, and allicin from garlic are among many natural molecules being tested for use in cancer therapy.

One lab-dish study showed that intravenous vitamin C has a profound effect in quelling non-solid tumors like lymphoma. Resveratrol has been shown to inhibit cancer at all three stages of development – initiation, growth and spread – something no modern cancer drug does.

Cancer patients, and in this case parents of a child with cancer, should not be grossly characterized as mindless or irresponsible. Modern cancer therapy is fraught with serious drawbacks and lack of scientific substantiation. Patients hear horror stories of other people’s ordeal with cancer.

A report published in 2008 said “most patients with Hodgkin’s lymphoma (HL) can be cured with chemotherapy, radiotherapy or combined modality treatment. However, current treatment is associated with severe side effects and late toxicities such as infertility, cardiovascular damage and secondary malignancies. Moreover, a fraction of patients suffers from treatment resistant disease and cannot be cured with current approaches including high dose chemotherapy and stem cell transplant.” [Hematology Meeting Reports 2008; 2(5):154–158] This report calls for re-examination of immunotherapy for lymphoma.

Numerous studies demonstrate that the status of the immune system dictates survival for cancer patients. A recently reported study showed that surgery or radiation treatment alone will inhibit T-cells in lymph fluid, which are a key regulator of tumor growth and dictate survival. The combination of chemotherapy plus radiation elevated T-cell counts, but so did experimental immunotherapy. [Anticancer Research 2009 May; 29(5):1847–52]

Whether the court will ever hear about the downsides of modern cancer therapy, should Colleen and Daniel Hauser return to Minnesota, is unknown. Health freedom organizations have yet to comment on this saga which is now widely reported by the news media.

The Israeli military holds its most extensive nationwide drill, signaling its intentions for a possible attack on Iran which they admit can ignite an all-out war in the region.

The nationwide exercise “Turning Point 3″ will begin on May 31 and will last five days, Ynetnews reported.

During the drill, Israeli forces and civilians will exercise a war against Hamas, Hezbollah, Syria and Iran and will also practice counterinsurgency tactics against Israeli Arabs.

Israel’s hawkish Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Sunday’s cabinet meeting tried to placate Israel’s regional countries, saying “this is a routine drill, which was planned several months ago and is held every year in order to coordinate between civil and military systems.”

Tel Aviv accuses Tehran of nuclear weapons development - a charge rejected by both Iran and the UN nuclear watchdog, which has so far made over 14 snap inspections of the country’s nuclear facilities.

This is while Tel Aviv is widely regarded as the sixth-largest nuclear power in the world and the sole possessor of an atomic arsenal in the Middle East.

In the early 1970s, Israel had already developed missiles capable of delivering nuclear warheads to most countries in the region, including Iran and Russia.

Moreover, Israel reportedly houses at least 100 bunker-busting bombs, which come in the form of laser-guided mini-nukes with the ability of penetrating underground targets.

The right-leaning government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has repeatedly threatened to bomb Iran’s enrichment facilities out of existence.

A ruling party lawmaker today urged Japan to break the terms of its pacifist constitution and pre-emptively attack North Korea following the Stalinist state’s nuclear bomb test.

“North Korea poses a serious and realistic threat to Japan,” stated former defense chief Gen Nakatani in Tokyo at a meeting of Liberal Democratic Party officials. “We must look at active missile defense such as attacking an enemy’s territory and bases.”

Nakatani said the attack could be accomplished by equipping navy ships with cruise missiles.

The former defense minister’s warning arrives on the heels of an LDP panel proposal that Japan should change the terms of its pacifist constitution, written by the U.S. after world war two to prevent Japan using hostile force to settle geopolitical disputes, to enable a military attack on North Korea.

“The Japanese government has built a defense network since a North Korean Taepodong-1 missile flew over Japan in 1998 that includes anti-missile batteries around Tokyo and is expanding to other major cities. Defense Minister Yasukazu Hamada in March ordered the shooting down of any North Korean missile or related debris that entered Japanese territory,” reports Bloomberg.

It’s not an exaggeration to conclude that any attack on North Korea could eventually lead to world war three. North Korea and China are allies and both have nuclear weapons. If North Korea is attacked by anyone, its first course of action would be to strike South Korea, a close ally of the United States. This would obligate the U.S. to retaliate, bringing American troops to the Chinese border and any escalation from that point would be a disaster.

As we reported yesterday, if you’re wondering how North Korea got its nukes in the first place, look no further than the U.S. government itself.

Two years before North Korea was included in the “axis of evil,” former U.S. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, during his time as executive director of ABB, signed off on a $200 million dollar contract to build light water nuclear reactors in North Korea.

Rumsfeld was merely picking up the baton from the Clinton administration, who in 1994 agreed to replace North Korea’s domestically built nuclear reactors with light water nuclear reactors.

According to Henry Sokolski, head of the Non-proliferation Policy Education Centre in Washington, “These reactors are like all reactors, they have the potential to make weapons. So you might end up supplying the worst nuclear violator with the means to acquire the very weapons we’re trying to prevent it acquiring.”

President George W. Bush provided another $95 million in April 2002 towards the construction of more reactors in North Korea, as well as a further $3.5 million in January 2003.

Construction of the reactors was eventually suspended, but North Korea had an alternative source through which they could obtain the nuclear secrets vital to building an atom bomb arsenal - CIA asset and international arms smuggler AQ Khan.

In 2004, Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan, the father of Pakistan’s atom bomb program, admitted sharing nuclear technology via a worldwide smuggling network that included facilities in Malaysia that manufactured key parts for centrifuges.

Khan’s collaborator B.S.A. Tahir ran a front company out of Dubai that shipped centrifuge components to North Korea.

Despite Dutch authorities being deeply suspicious of Khan’s activities as far back as 1975, the CIA prevented them from arresting him on two occasions.

“The man was followed for almost ten years and obviously he was a serious problem. But again I was told that the secret services could handle it more effectively,” former Dutch Prime Minister Ruud Lubbers said. “The Hague did not have the final say in the matter. Washington did.”

Lubbers stated that Khan was allowed to slip in and out of the Netherlands with the blessing of the CIA, eventually allowing him to become the “primary salesman of an extensive international network for the proliferation of nuclear technology and know-how,” according to George W. Bush himself, and sell nuclear secrets that allowed North Korea to build nuclear bombs.

“Lubbers suspects that Washington allowed Khan’s activities because Pakistan was a key ally in the fight against the Soviets,” reports CFP. “At the time, the US government funded and armed mujahideen such as Osama bin Laden. They were trained by Pakistani intelligence to fight Soviet troops in Afghanistan. Anwar Iqbal, Washington correspondent for the Pakistani newspaper Dawn, told ISN Security Watch that Lubbers’ assertions may be correct. “This was part of a long-term foolish strategy. The US knew Pakistan was developing nuclear weapons but couldn’t care less because it was not going to be used against them. It was a deterrent against India and possibly the Soviets.”

In September 2005 it emerged that the Amsterdam court which sentenced Khan to four years imprisonment in 1983 had lost the legal files pertaining to the case. The court’s vice-president, Judge Anita Leeser, accused the CIA of stealing the files. “Something is not right, we just don’t lose things like that,” she told Dutch news show NOVA. “I find it bewildering that people lose files with a political goal, especially if it is on request of the CIA. It is unheard of.”

With this history in mind, the shock, condemnation and indignation being expressed by the U.S. government in response to North Korea’s second nuclear bomb test is tinged with hypocrisy to say the least. Through their policies in aiding North Korea to build light water reactors, and via the CIA asset AQ Khan who was protected at every step of the way while he helped provide North Korea with the means to build a nuclear arsenal, the U.S. government itself is directly complicit in providing North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Il with the nuclear weapons that they are now condemning him for testing.

Amidst the cacophony of condemnation from all sides following North Korea’s second nuclear bomb test, there has been no mention whatsoever of how the secretive Stalinist state got its weapons in the first place - they were paid for by the U.S. government.

Both the Clinton and Bush administrations played a key role in helping Kim Jong-Il develop North Korea’s nuclear prowess from the mid 1990’s onwards.

The hypocrisy being spewed forth from all sides in reaction to today’s news that North Korea tested an underground nuclear device equivalent to 10 times the power of their first test in October 2006 is akin to when the U.S. cited Iraq’s possession of chemical and biological weapons as a reason to invade in 2003, having first checked the receipt of course, since it was Donald Rumsfeld who brokered the deal to supply Saddam with those weapons in the first place.

Rumsfeld was also the man who presided over a $200 million dollar contract to deliver equipment and services to build two light water reactor stations in North Korea in January 2000 when he was an executive director of ABB (Asea Brown Boveri). Wolfram Eberhardt, a spokesman for ABB confirmed that Rumsfeld was at nearly all the board meetings during his involvement with the company.

The U.S. State Department claimed that the light water reactors could not be used to produce bomb grade material and yet in 2002 urged Russia to end its nuclear co-operation with Iran for the reason that it didn’t want Iran armed with weapons of mass destruction. At the time, Russia was building light water reactors in Iran. According to the State Department, light water reactors in Iran can produce nuclear material but somehow the same rule doesn’t apply in North Korea.

In April 2002, the Bush administration announced that it would release $95 million of American taxpayer’s dollars to begin construction of the ‘harmless’ light water reactors in North Korea. Bush argued that arming the megalomaniac dictator Kim Jong-Il with the potential to produce a hundred nukes a year was, “vital to the national security interests of the United States.” Bush released even more money in January 2003, as was reported by Bloomberg News.

Bush released the funds despite the startling revelation, reported by South Korean newspapers, that a North Korean missile warhead had been found in Alaska.

North Korea is controlled by a hereditary Stalinist dictatorship that has starved two million of its citizens to death in favor of building a million-man army. Some people put the figure at four million, one-quarter of the population. In the far north of the country there is a network of forced labor gulags where people who have ‘expressed a bland political opinion’ are, along with their entire families, tortured, raped and executed. Horrific bio-chemical experiments are performed on mass numbers of people. Babies are delivered and then stamped to death by the camp guards. If the mother screams while the guards are stamping on the baby’s neck, she is immediately assassinated by a firing squad. These guards are rewarded with bonuses and promotions for ripping out prisoners’ eyeballs.

The North Korean people are enslaved by a government that is using food as a weapon. Perhaps this is why the EU and the United States, via the UN World Food Program, resumed the shipment of hundreds of thousands of tons in food aid at the end of February 2003. This goes directly to the sitting dictatorship, which then decides who gets it by their level of allegiance to the state. Food aid only increases the power of Kim Jong-Il and yet it is veiled by the UN in bleeding heart humanitarian rhetoric. The money goes straight to enabling the North Korean leadership to live in the lap of westernized luxury with casinos and lavish new cars.

President Bush publicly claimed to loathe Kim Jong-Il and yet his administration, like Bill Clinton before him, set the policy to help North Korea obtain nuclear expertise. The U.S. intelligence network also protected AQ Khan and allowed him to provide the means with which North Korea aqcuired their nuclear capability.

Now the corporate media, along with Obama, the UN, Israel and others, are expressing their grave condemnation that North Korea is testing the very same nuclear weapons technology that was initially bankrolled by the U.S. government itself. Sanctions are already in the pipeline and others are even talking of military confrontation, which could ultimately lead to a conflict with China, North Korea’s close neighbor and ally.

We are surrounded by robots, from automated dogs and vacuum cleaners at home to assistants in operating rooms and on the factory floor. The most influential (and the greatest number) of these robots, however, are in a place few Americans see: the battlefield. More than anything, robots are changing the way war works.

Robotics in war is the most important change in major human activity dating back at least 5,000 years, according to P.W. Singer, a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution think tank and the author of Wired for War: The Robotics Revolution and Conflict in the 21st Century.

“Every mission [that] soldiers go out on in Iraq, there’s something (automated) flying over them, maybe an unmanned vehicle scouting ahead of them,” Singer says. “When they shoot, the key is what they put their laser on for a drone to fire at. … The story of the surge is not the additional troops, it’s the air strikes (by machines like Predator drones) going up by a huge amount.”

The numbers illustrate this: With the U.S. military budget likely to fall, spending on robotic systems is steadily rising, even as–thanks to Moore’s Law and plain old engineering–the machines are getting cheaper. In 2003, there were barely any ground-based robots in Iraq, the kind of small, treaded vehicles used to look for insurgents and disarm explosives. Today there are over 12,000.

Our speculation that the “secret billionaire club” meeting at the beginning of the month was primarily focused around population control, a cause célèbre embraced by David Rockefeller, Ted Turner and Bill Gates, has been confirmed by a London Times report.

Details of the secret confab were thin on the ground in the initial reports concerning the meeting of rich “philanthropists” like Rockefeller, Turner, Gates, Warren Buffet and George Soros, which took place in New York on May 5 at the home of Sir Paul Nurse, a British Nobel prize biochemist and president of the private Rockefeller University.

An ABC News report about the confab offered little more than fawning idolatry towards the attendees, and was little more than a sophistic exercise in ass kissing and creeping adulation for people like Rockefeller and Turner, who were portrayed as philanthropic saviors of the planet.

We questioned this premise by pointing out that Turner has publicly advocated shocking population reduction programs that would cull the human population by a staggering 95%. He has also called for a Communist-style one child policy to be mandated by governments in the west. In China, the one child policy is enforced by means of taxes on each subsequent child, allied to an intimidation program which includes secret police and “family planning” authorities kidnapping pregnant women from their homes and performing forced abortions.

Of course, Turner completely fails to follow his own rules on how everyone else should live their lives, having five children and owning no less than 2 million acres of land.

Our initial suspicions that the secret meeting was primarily concerned with population control has been confirmed by a London Times report, which states, “SOME of America’s leading billionaires have met secretly to consider how their wealth could be used to slow the growth of the world’s population and speed up improvements in health and education. The philanthropists who attended a summit convened on the initiative of Bill Gates, the Microsoft co-founder, discussed joining forces to overcome political and religious obstacles to change.”

Of course, slowing the growth of the world’s population while also improving its health are two irreconcilable concepts to the elite. Stabilizing world population is a natural byproduct of higher living standards, as has been proven by the stabilization of the white population in the west. Elitists like David Rockefeller have no interest in “slowing the growth of world population” by natural methods, their agenda is firmly rooted in the pseudo-science of eugenics, which is all about “culling” the surplus population via draconian methods.

David Rockefeller’s legacy is not derived from a well-meaning “philanthropic” urge to improve health in third world countries, it is born out of a Malthusian drive to eliminate the poor and those deemed racially inferior, using the justification of social Darwinism.

As is documented in Alex Jones’ seminal film Endgame, Rockefeller’s father, John D. Rockefeller, exported eugenics to Germany from its origins in Britain by bankrolling the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute which later would form a central pillar in the Third Reich’s ideology of the Nazi super race. After the fall of the Nazis, top German eugenicists were protected by the allies as the victorious parties fought over who would enjoy their “expertise” in the post-war world.

In the latter half of the 20th century, eugenics merely changed its face to become known as “population control”. This was crystallized in National Security Study Memorandum 200, a 1974 geopolitical strategy document prepared by Rockefeller’s intimate friend and fellow Bilderberg member Henry Kissinger, which targeted thirteen countries for massive population reduction by means of creating food scarcity, sterilization and war.

In the 21st century, the eugenics movement has changed its stripes once again, manifesting itself through the global carbon tax agenda and the notion that having too many children or enjoying a reasonably high standard of living is destroying the planet through global warming, creating the pretext for further regulation and control over every facet of our lives.

As we have tirelessly documented, the elite’s drive for population control is not based around a benign philanthropic urge to improve living standards, it is firmly routed in eugenics, racial hygiene and fascist thinking.

The Times reports that the secret billionaire cabal has been dubbed ‘The Good Club’ by insiders. This couldn’t be further from the truth. Anyone who takes the time to properly research the origins of the “population control” movement will come to understand that the Rockefeller-Turner-Gates agenda for drastic population reduction, which is now clearly manifesting itself through real environmental crises like chemtrails, genetically modified food, tainted vaccines and other skyrocketing diseases such as cancer, has its origins in the age-old malevolent elitist agenda to cull the human “chattel” as one would do to rodents or any other species deemed a nuisance by the central planning authorities.

ABC News today devoted a prominently featured three page story to a “secret meeting” of rich philanthropists which took place earlier this month in New York, and yet one of the biggest news corporations in America was completely silent during a far more important meeting of around 150 of the world’s powerbrokers at the Bilderberg conference last week.

“Under a cloak of secrecy, some of the world’s wealthiest people gathered in an unprecedented meeting early this month in New York City possibly to coordinate strategies for giving their vast fortunes to charity in the midst of the financial crisis,” begins the report, before descending into a deluge of fawning idolatry about how people like David Rockefeller, Bill Gates and Ted Turner, who has repeatedly called for world population to be reduced by a shocking 95% as well as a one child policy instituted in the west, are committed to saving the poor from the ravages of the economic crisis with their benign acts of philanthropy.

The report states that the meeting is “enough to spark the imaginations of conspiracy theorists everywhere,” linking to a previous ABC News report that implies people who believe that powerful individuals conspire to rule the world in secret are probably mentally ill.

The most vomit inducing paragraph of the whole article arrives when ABC asks, “There remain as many questions about the meeting’s details as there are about the logistics behind its organization. How did some of the world’s most public figures coordinate their schedules, travel, and security with no one in media knowing about it?”

Well how indeed did they manage to do that I wonder? 150+ of the global elite manage to do it on a routine basis every single year without barely a whimper from the corporate media, despite the location of the Bilderberg meeting leaking in advance every time.

They manage to do it because the corporate media was castrated decades ago and is merely a PR machine for the establishment, which is why they dutifully follow orders not to report on what would otherwise be a gargantuan story of worldwide interest in the form of the secret Bilderberg Group meetings.

Since all Bilderberg members adhere to “Chatham House Rules,” forbidding the revelation of anything that was discussed, it’s unsurprising that ABC refused to report on the global elite’s annual confab in Greece near Athens last week, a story that dwarves this much vaunted “meeting of the rich” in terms of both the number and the influence of the numerous powerbrokers who attended.

Bilderberg 2009 coverage was left to a gaggle of alternative media citizen journalists who were harassed, stalked, detained and physically assaulted every step of the way by secret police and security goons at the behest of Bilderberg.

ABC News’ “meeting of the rich” exclusive is a pathetic attempt at convincing its declining audience that the corporate media has any interest in uncovering the secret agenda of the elite, when in reality the story is nothing more than a sophistic exercise in ass kissing and creeping adulation for people like David Rockefeller and Ted Turner, who are portrayed as philanthropic saviors of the planet, when they are in fact nothing more than globalist scum intent on destroying U.S. sovereignty and eliminating us “useless feeders” by means of population reduction programs which they have routinely advocated.

They are volunteers in an "information war" who see as clearly, as John saw his four Apocalyptic horsemen and seven trumpeting angels, that 9/11 was an "inside job," that the military-industrial complex killed Kennedy, and that an international "power elite" is plotting to enslave us all, excepting for those it will kill outright.

They are hard to pigeonhole politically, these conspiracy adepts, trusting neither the "socialist Democrats" nor the "fascist Republicans" — Ron Paul seems to be their man, if anyone is — yet sounding as often like ’60s leftist radicals as right-wing militiamen. They take the 1st Amendment as seriously as any card-carrying member of the ACLU, styling themselves muckrakers and speakers of truth to power, often through a bullhorn.

The New York Times and New York Press attempt to attack and ridicule Alex Jones and the other ‘ranting conspiracy theorists’ in Luke Meyer and Andrew Neel’s latest doc, New World Order. The papers are, thus, reluctant to embrace the largely objective film itself, perhaps because the “unrelentingly tedious” doc refuses to attack its subjects.

Few things are as tiresome as listening to people rant about their conspiracy theories. While there are, no doubt, tantalizing speculations to be made about the “inside job” that demolished the World Trade Center and the nefarious agenda of the global elite, movies about such things do well to involve James Bond and giant explosions.

“New World Order,” an unrelentingly tedious documentary by Luke Meyer and Andrew Neel, follows a group of considerably less glamorous truth-seekers. The most prominent of the filmmakers’ subjects, the radio host Alex Jones, who is based in Austin, Tex., rails against the powers that be — all of them — in a manner that reinforces every cliche of the conspiracy theorist loon: paranoid, megalomaniacal, delusional, sweaty.

The documentary’s most action-packed scene finds Mr. Jones throwing a major hissy fit when his hotel fire alarm goes off, thereby proving, without a shadow of a doubt, that “they” are trying to suppress his revelations.

There’s a movie to be made about the psychology of such men, their personal lives and private obsessions. “New World Order” merely gawks at them.

Up-and-coming filmmaking duo Luke Meyer and Andrew Neel’s latest doc, New World Order, admirably humanizes the “9/11 truthers,” a seemingly impossible task they accomplish handily by never condescending to or patronizing their less-than-credible subjects. Led by filmmaker/radio personality Alex Jones, the group’s most vocal mouthpiece, the “truthers” insist that the collapse of the Twin Towers on 9/11 was an inside job orchestrated by The Bilderberg Group, a shadowy international organization comprised of foreign and domestic businessmen and politicians. Meyer and Neel let a few of them tell their stories with a minimum of editorializing, arguably only inflating beyond its natural scope the fears and unshakable anger that fuels them: They exaggerate only where necessary and only what the “truthers” willingly put on display.

The most potent message New World Order conveys is its refusal to flinch in the face of what many would call fanaticism, training a focused, steady eye on their subjects without hastily making a satisfying knee-jerk judgment. Through the tears, constant rallying, paranoiac rants and hypocritical disclaimers of their subjects, Meyer and Neel remind us that these conspiracy theorists are not to be pitied but rather understood as people doing what they earnestly believe is their civic duty. They’re rabid and frankly more than a little nuts. For example, in the impending apocalypse, red and blue dots on mail apparently determine whether you get taken to a FEMA camp or get shot on sight by stormtroopers–but they’re also a determined and militantly organized group that dares you to ignore them.

Russia Today Covers New World Order Movie/Bilderberg Group

On the eve of the 2009 Bilderberg Group conference, which is due to be held May 14-17 at the 5 star Nafsika Astir Palace Hotel in Vouliagmeni, Greece, investigative reporter Daniel Estulin has uncovered shocking details of what the elitists plan to do with the economy over the course of the next year.

The Bilderberg Group meeting is an annual confab of around 150 of the world’s most influential powerbrokers in government, industry, banking, media, academia and the military-industrial complex. The secretive group operates under “Chatham House rules,” meaning that no details of what is discussed can ever be leaked to the media, despite editors of the world’s biggest newspapers, the Washington Post, the New York Times and the Financial Times, being present at the meeting.

According to Estulin’s sources, which have been proven highly accurate in the past, Bilderberg is divided on whether to put into motion, “Either a prolonged, agonizing depression that dooms the world to decades of stagnation, decline and poverty … or an intense-but-shorter depression that paves the way for a new sustainable economic world order, with less sovereignty but more efficiency.”

The information takes on added weight when one considers the fact that Estulin’s previous economic forecasts, which were based on leaks from the same sources, have proven deadly accurate. Estulin correctly predicted the housing crash and the 2008 financial meltdown as a result of what his sources inside Bilderberg told him the elite were planning based on what was said at their 2006 meeting in Canada and the 2007 conference in Turkey.

Details of the economic agenda were contained in a pre-meeting booklet being handed out to Bilderberg members. On a more specific note, Estulin warns that Bilderberg are fostering a false picture of economic recovery, suckering investors into ploughing their money back into the stock market again only to later unleash another massive downturn which will create “massive losses and searing financial pain in the months ahead,” according to a Canada Free Press report.

According to Estulin, Bilderberg is assuming that U.S. unemployment figures will reach around 14% by the end of the year, almost doubling the current official figure of 8.1 per cent.

Estulin’s sources also tell him that Bilderberg will again attempt to push for the enactment of the Lisbon Treaty, a key centerpiece of the agenda to fully entrench a federal EU superstate, by forcing the Irish to vote again on the document in September/October despite having rejected it already, along with other European nations, in national referendums.

“One of their concerns is addressing and neutralizing the anti-Lisbon treaty movement called “Libertas” led by Declan Ganley. One of the Bilderberger planned moves is to use a whispering campaign in the US media suggested that Ganley is being funded by arms dealers in the US linked to the US military,” reports CFP.

Daniel Estulin, Jim Tucker, and other sources who have infiltrated Bilderberg meetings in the past have routinely provided information about the Bilderberg agenda that later plays out on the world stage, proving that the organization is not merely a “talking shop” as debunkers claim, but an integral planning forum for the new world order agenda.

Indeed, just last month Belgian viscount and current Bilderberg-chairman Étienne Davignon bragged that Bilderberg helped create the Euro by first introducing the policy agenda for a single currency in the early 1990’s. Bilderberg’s agenda for a European federal superstate and a single currency likely goes back even further. A BBC investigation uncovered documents from the early Bilderberg meetings which confirmed that the European Union was a brainchild of Bilderberg.

In spring 2002, when war hawks in the Bush administration were pushing for a summer invasion of Iraq, Bilderbergers expressed their desire for a delay and the attack was not launched until March the following year.

In 2008, Estulin predicted that Bilderberg were creating the conditions for a financial calamity, which is exactly what began a few months later with the collapse of Lehman Brothers.

Bilderberg has routinely flexed its muscles in establishing its role as kingmaker. The organization routinely selects presidential candidates as well as running mates and prime ministers.

Bill Clinton and Tony Blair were both groomed by the secretive organization in the early 1990’s before rising to prominence.

Barack Obama’s running mate Joe Biden was selected by Bilderberg luminary James A. Johnson, and John Kerry’s 2004 running mate John Edwards was also anointed by the group after he gave a glowing speech at the conference in 2004. Bilderberg attendees even broke house rules to applaud Edwards at the end of a speech he gave to the elitists about American politics. The choice of Edwards was shocking to media pundits who had fully expected Dick Gephardt to secure the position. The New York Post even reported that Gephardt had been chosen and “Kerry-Gephardt” stickers were being placed on campaign vehicles before being removed when Edwards was announced as Kerry’s number two.

A 2008 Portuguese newspaper report highlighted the fact that Pedro Santana Lopes and Jose Socrates attended the 2004 meeting in Stresa, Italy before both going on to become Prime Minster of Portugal.

Several key geopolitical decisions were made at last year’s Bilderberg meeting in Washington DC, again emphasizing the fact that the confab is far more than an informal get-together.

As we reported at the time, Bilderberg were concerned that the price of oil was accelerating too fast after it hit $150 a barrel and wanted to ensure that “oil prices would probably begin to decline”. This is exactly what happened in the latter half of 2008 as oil again sunk below $50 a barrel. We were initially able to predict the rapid rise in oil prices in 2005 when oil was at $40, because Bilderberg had called for prices to rise during that year’s meeting in Munich. During the conference in Germany, Henry Kissinger told his fellow attendees that the elite had resolved to ensure that oil prices would double over the course of the next 12-24 months, which is exactly what happened.

There was also widespread speculation that Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama’s “secret meeting,” which was accomplished with the aid of cloak and dagger tactics like locking journalists on an airplane to keep them from tracking the two down, took place at the Bilderberg meeting in DC.

It remains to be seen what kind of mainstream media press coverage Bilderberg 2009 will be afforded because, despite the proven track record of Bilderberg having a central role in influencing subsequent geopolitical and financial world events, and despite last year’s meeting being held in Washington DC, the U.S. corporate media oversaw an almost universal blackout of reporting on the conference, its attendees, and what was discussed.

Once again, it will be left to the alternative media to fill the vacuum and educate the people on exactly what the globalists have planned for us over the coming year.

Intrepid Bilderberg investigator and reporter Jim Tucker of the American Free Press confirms that U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner will attend this year’s Bilderberg meeting in Athens, Greece.

Geithner’s presence will be in violation of the Logan Act, intended to prohibit American citizens without authority from interfering in relations between the United States and foreign governments. Congress established the Logan Act in 1799. The only Logan Act indictment occurred in 1803. It involved a Kentucky newspaper article that argued for the formation in the western United States of a separate nation allied to France. No prosecution followed.

“Geithner, who has overseen Obama’s bailout agenda since taking over from Hank Paulson, is the perfect stooge to implement the global financial regulatory systems that elitists have called for in the aftermath of the financial downturn,” writes Paul Joseph Watson today. “Geithner’s presence at Bilderberg is noteworthy, not only because Bernanke attended immediately before the economic crisis last year, but also because Bilderberg’s agenda for 2009 is heavily weighted towards the financial crisis.”

Other U.S. officials will attend the meeting. “US Deputy Secretary of State James Steinberg will be the first member of President Barack Obama’s administration to have a meeting with Greek officials in Greece, sources said yesterday,” reports Kathimerini, Greece’s international English language newspaper. “Steinberg will be in Athens for a meeting of the international invitation-only club, the Bilderberg Group, which begins today and runs until Saturday. Sources said that Steinberg is due to meet with Prime Minister Costas Karamanlis and Foreign Minister Dora Bakoyannis.”

“Whether Lucifer will be down there on the sun-loungers remains to be seen,” Roger Boyes and John Carr write sarcastically for the Times Online. “But what we have been able to establish from a World Bank spokesman, Alexis O’Brien, is that the organization’s president, Robert Zoellick, will be in Athens on unspecified business on May 14. And that US Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner’s public schedule is mysteriously empty for the next two days.”

Robert Zoellick was previously a managing director of Goldman Sachs, United States Deputy Secretary of State, and U.S. Trade Representative. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Trilateral Commission and attended Bilderberg meetings in 1991, 2003, 2006 and 2007.

According to a London Times report, U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner will probably be in attendance at this week’s Bilderberg Group meeting, as top globalists meet to plot the financial future of the planet behind closed doors.

The Times article notes that “US Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner’s public schedule is mysteriously empty for the next two days,” speculating that he will be in Vouliagmeni, Greece for the annual elitist confab, following in the footsteps of Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke, who attended last year’s conference in Washington DC just months before the collapse of Lehman Brothers and the start of the economic crisis.

Geithner, who has overseen Obama’s bailout agenda since taking over from Hank Paulson, is the perfect stooge to implement the global financial regulatory systems that elitists have called for in the aftermath of the financial downturn.

Back in March, Geithner publicly stated that there were no plans to move towards a global currency to supplant the dollar, and yet at a private CFR meeting he assured his fellow globalists that he was “open” to the notion of a new global currency system.

Geithner’s presence at Bilderberg is noteworthy, not only because Bernanke attended immediately before the economic crisis last year, but also because Bilderberg’s agenda for 2009 is heavily weighted towards the financial crisis. The Times also reports that World Bank President Robert Zoellick, “Will be in Athens on unspecified business on May 14,” meaning it’s almost certain that he too will attend Bilderberg, as numerous past World Bank chiefs have done in previous years.

During a speech which preceded this year’s G8 summit, Zoellick openly admitted Bilderberg’s plan to eliminate national sovereignty and impose a global government via the imposition of worldwide financial regulatory powers.

Speaking about the agenda to increase not just funding but power for international organizations on the back of the financial crisis, Zoellick stated, “If leaders are serious about creating new global responsibilities or governance, let them start by modernising multilateralism to empower the WTO, the IMF, and the World Bank Group to monitor national policies.”

“To say we were striving for a one-world government is exaggerated, but not wholly unfair,” top Bilderberg member Lord Healey once told author Jon Ronson, adding that Bilderberg members thought “A single community throughout the world would be a good thing.”

As we have previously highlighted, the European Union was a creation of Bilderberg founding members, aided by top Nazi economists such as Hermann Abs, Hitler’s top banker and a man described by Bilderberg luminary David Rockefeller as “the greatest banker of the 20th century”.

In addition to Geithner’s probable attendance, US Deputy Secretary of State James Steinberg is using the pretext of an obscure meeting with Greek officials, the first time a member of the Obama administration has done so, to take his place at Bilderberg.

According to Greek newspaper Kathimerini, “Steinberg will be in Athens for a meeting of the international invitation-only club, the Bilderberg Group, which begins today and runs until Saturday.”

Politico has reported on a “handful” of Obama administration officials who were in attendance at this year’s Bilderberg meeting at the Astir Palace hotel in Vouliagmeni on the Aegean Sea in Greece. James Steinberg and Richard Holbrooke gave presentations on foreign policy while Paul Volcker addressed economic issues at the elitist confab, according to the news website.

It is illegal under the Logan Act for U.S. government officials to meet behind closed doors with leaders of foreign countries.

James Steinberg, Obama’s Deputy Secretary of State, is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Trilateral Commission. Richard Holbrooke is Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan in the Obama administration and is positioned at the very apex of the CFR. He is a Trilateral Commission member and a virtual fixture at Bilderberg meetings. Paul Volcker is the former chairman of the Federal Reserve under Carter and Reagan and heads up Obama’s Economic Recovery Advisory Board. He is a Trilateral member and has had a long association with the Rockefeller family, not only with his positions at Chase Bank and the Trilateral Commission, but also through membership of the Trust Committee of Rockefeller Group.

David Rockefeller is an honorary life director of the CFR, founder the Trilateral Commission, and founding member, life member, and member of the Steering Committee of the Bilderberg Group.

A source at the meetings told Politico Holbrooke briefed attendees on the Obama administration’s “unified approach” to dealing with Afghanistan and Pakistan. In March, Obama announced a major escalation of the war in Afghanistan and Pakistan after a “review” by the State Department where Holbrooke serves as point man on the region. During Holbrooke’s appointment in January, Obama declared Afghanistan and Pakistan to be the central front in the war on terrorism.

In addition to Pakistan and Afghanistan, the Bilderbergers discussed how to best exploit the global recession and swine flu, according to Bilderberg reporter Jim Tucker’s inside sources. “Bilderberg owns President Obama,” writes Tucker. “His goal, as dictated by Bilderberg, is to persuade the new Senate (to be seated in January 2010), to ratify the ICC [International Criminal Court] treaty late on a Saturday night, too late for the Sunday papers or to make changes in the Sunday TV talkies.”

Other Obama administration attendees included Secretary of the Treasury Timothy Geithner, James Jones, Obama’s National Security Advisor, and Lawrence Summers, Director of the White House’s National Economic Council, according to the 2009 Bilderberg attendee list.

“You will not read of this in the Bilderberg-controlled Washington Post, New York Times, Los Angeles Times or hear about it on network news broadcasts,” Tucker added.

Politico admits “the gathering produced barely a blip in the American mainstream media,” with the exception of brief reports by the Wall Street Journal and the Associated Press. Most of the coverage on Bilderberg meetings is provided by the alternative press, most notably the American Free Press, Infowars, and Prison Planet.

According to Politico, the Bilderberg’s “ultra-exclusive roster of globally influential figures has captured the interest of an international network of conspiracists, who for decades have viewed the Bilderberg conference as a devious corporate-globalist scheme.” Politico’s source said that any suggestion that Bilderberg is secretly anointing world leaders or plotting global policy is the provenance of “the black helicopter crowd.”

“As in past years, the near-absence of mainstream media coverage left Bilderberg-veil-piercing duties to a group of self-styled Bilderberg hunters whose reporting and speculation fill fringe, libertarian-leaning websites, newspapers and AM radio shows popular with those whose worldview is characterized by a deep and angry suspicion of the ruling class rather than any prevailing partisan or ideological affiliation,” writes Kenneth P. Vogel for Politico.

Politico is an establishment news website owned by media mogul Robert Allbritton and edited by former Washington Post scribes. Donald Graham, CEO of the Washington Post Company, was on the 2009 Bilderberg attendee list.

Bilderberg Attendee: Obama Officials Gave Briefings At Secret Elite Confab

Behind closed doors gathering throws up multiple potential violations of Logan Act

An attendee of this year’s secretive Bilderberg meeting in Vouliagmeni, Greece has revealed that several Obama administration officials were in attendance and gave briefings to the elite group’s members.

The revelations indicate that those Obama officials could have acted in violation of the Logan Act, a 1799 law that criminalizes unauthorized U.S. citizens from negotiating with foreign governments.

Speaking on the proviso of anonymity, in accordance with Bilderberg’s off-the-record rules, the attendee told the US political Journal POLITICO:

According to the Washington, D.C. based outlet, the anonymous attendee claims that Holbrooke, a State Department special envoy, briefed attendees on the Obama administration’s ongoing and future policies concerning Afghanistan and Pakistan.

The unnamed attendee also suggested that James Steinberg, the Deputy Secretary of State, gave a presentation on the administration’s broader foreign policy, while National Security Agency Director Lt. Gen. Keith Alexander also participated in the conference.

Alexander, Holbrooke and Steinberg have all attended previous Bilderberg meetings, but at the time were not acting representatives of the US government.

POLITICO says that The White House, State Department and NSA have not responded to questions regarding Alexander, Holbrooke and Steinberg’s attendance at the meeting or whether they were representing the Obama administration.

Meanwhile, Paul Volcker’s assistants have admitted that he was present at the meeting, but could not clarify the details of his briefing and stressed that he was not representing the White House.

Furthermore, the Treasury department has denied that Timothy Geithner was in attendance at Bilderberg, claiming he was in New York at the time, despite reports in the London Times and confirmations from Bilderberg investigators Jim Tucker and Daniel Estulin, placing Geithner at Bilderberg 2009.

Given that Greek Foreign Minister Dora Bakoyannis and Prime Minister Kostas Karamanlis attended this year’s Bilderberg, in addition to UK government official Peter Mandelson, along with several other heads of state including Dutch Queen Beatrix, Queen Sofia of Spain, this places Alexander, Holbrooke, Steinberg, Volcker and Geithner in violation of the Logan Act, should their attendance be officially recognised.

The Logan Act is intended to prohibit American citizens without authority from interfering in relations between the United States and foreign governments.

The Logan Act states, “Any citizen of the United States, wherever he may be, who, without authority of the United States, directly or indirectly commences or carries on any correspondence or intercourse with any foreign government or any officer or agent thereof, with intent to influence the measures or conduct of any foreign government or of any officer or agent thereof, in relation to any disputes or controversies with the United States, or to defeat the measures of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.”

An Obama administration official giving a secret gathering of foreign government representatives a briefing on the foreign policy or the monetary policies of the US government, can clearly be recognised within such terms.

The Logan Act also bars public officials from meeting with private citizens to make policy, a crime for which the Clinton White House was fined $300,000 for, according to Bilderberg sleuth Jim Tucker.

The act was established by Congress in 1799, with the only official indictment having occurred in 1803. This incident involved a Kentucky newspaper article that argued for the formation in the western United States of a separate nation allied to France. No prosecution followed.

The fact that Bilderberg has a proven track record of creating consensus for policy that is enacted shortly down the line also betrays the group as wholly undemocratic and criminal in its secrecy, further violating the Logan Act.

Will any investigations, charges or prosecutions follow? It is unlikely, given that the castrated mainstream media in the US has uniformly sealed their lips on the event once again.

Indeed, anyone who suggests that Bilderberg is anything more than a golfing holiday for the rich and powerful, is painted up as some kind of crazy lunatic.

“…any suggestion that Bilderberg is secretly anointing world leaders or plotting global policy is the provenance of “the black helicopter crowd,” the anonymous attendee of this year’s conference told POLITICO.

This despite the fact that this year’s event was protected from a relatively tiny gathering of independent reporters and protesters by a joint effort on behalf of “hundreds of police, navy commandos, coast guard speedboats and two F-16 fighter planes”, according to a rare AP report.

The meetings are “one of the least well-kept secrets in the world” and “don’t have any decision-making authority,” said the attendee, a comment which we have tirelessly shown to be patently false.

Bilderberg luminaries all appeared grim-faced as they stepped from their limos on to the grounds of the Nafsika Astir Palace Hotel in Vouliagmeni, Greece. They arrived from the airport in nearby Athens, escorted by police with sirens blaring. The world economy is at the top of the Bilderberg agenda. Bilderberg will debate how to exploit the global recession and fabrications about “swine flu” to advance its world government goals. Bilderberg’s agenda has expanded, even as public awareness has grown.

Sources within Bilderberg said President Obama will be instructed to make another effort to get the United States to sign on to the International Criminal Court. The ICC treaty, if ratified by the Senate, would be superior to the Constitution, able to overrule Congress and the Supreme Court and impose “world law” on America.

Bilderberg leaders said they understood the effort would have to be handled with “subtle delicacy” because of the Senate’s traditional hostility to joining the ICC.

Former President Bill Clinton, who attended Bilderberg as the obscure governor of Arkansas in 1991 and was elected president in 1992, OK’d the ICC treaty, even though a test vote showed more than 90 senators objecting to the treaty, including world government advocates who were scared off by patriotic voters made aware of the perils by The Spotlight, the inspiration for AMERICAN FREE PRESS. So Clinton dared not submit the ICC treaty for ratification, and was forced to wait for a wind change in politics.

But Bilderberg owns President Obama, who sees himself as a “citizen of the world.” He will be sweet-talking Senate supporters who are afraid to back the treaty. He will be hoping for an even more left-wing Senate after the 2010 election, His goal, as dictated by Bilderberg, is to persuade the new Senate (to be seated in January 2010), to ratify the ICC treaty late on a Saturday night, too late for the Sunday papers or to make changes in the Sunday TV talkies.

Veteran investigative journalist Jim Tucker has uncovered Bilderberg’s 2009 agenda, which includes the plan for a global department of health, a global treasury and a shortened depression rather than a longer economic downturn.

Appearing on The Alex Jones Show, Tucker said that former Swedish Prime Minister and regular Bilderberg attendee Carl Bildt, “Made a speech advocating turning the World Health Organization into a world department of health, advocating turning the IMF into a world department of treasury, both of course under the auspices of the United Nations.”

Tucker noted that such moves would constitute giant steps toward the world government that Bilderberg has set about to achieve but has been frustrated in finalizing over the past 10 years.

Tucker said that Bilderberg are keen on stressing the problems caused by the economic crisis, as well as the threat of a disease pandemic, as a means of justifying centralization of power.

According to Tucker, Bildt also discussed global warming in the context of a global tax on carbon emissions, which has long been a part of Bilderberg’s agenda.

The global tax which will be paid directly to the UN will be introduced gradually, first of all as a barely noticeable tax at the gas pump, before being hiked up once it is in place, said Tucker.

Regarding the crucial Lisbon Treaty, which was struck down after Irish voters said no to its passage last year, Tucker said that Bilderberg were planning to privately send representatives to Ireland to talk to political leaders in an effort to push the treaty through. The EU requires all member states to ratify the treaty before it can be passed and Irish voters will again be asked to vote in a referendum later this year despite having already rejected the treaty last year.

Tucker said that a key component of this year’s Bilderberg Group meeting was an effort to get President Obama to, “Slip through ratification of the International Criminal Court treaty,” by forwarding it to the Senate to be voted on.

“Their tactics are this,” said Tucker, “Obama is to sweet talk the many left-wing Democrats in Congress who really want the International Criminal Court treaty, they’re just scared because people were so strongly opposed to surrendering sovereignty that they were afraid to vote for it - political cowards - so Obama’s going to sweet talk them and say don’t worry, we’ll have more liberals in the Senate after the 2010 elections so in January of 2011 when the new Senate is seated you can ratify it late on a Saturday night when it’s too late for Sunday morning papers and to re-plan the Sunday talk shows….there will be no political reprisals.”

Tucker confirmed the information first released by Daniel Estulin, that Bilderberg were discussing whether to sink the economy quickly or drag on a long agonizing depression. “Treasury Secretary Geithner and Carl Bildt touted a shorter recession not a 10-year recession….partly because a 10 year recession would damage Bilderberg industrialists themselves, as much as they want to have a global department of labor and a global department of treasury, they still like making money and such a long recession would cost them big bucks industrially because nobody is buying their toys….the tilt is towards keeping it short,” said Tucker.

Tucker concluded by noting that Bilderberg members seemed grim faced at this year’s meeting and that geopolitically, “Things are going bad for them, Americans are responding, Europeans are responding, and their program is being blocked.”

In the wake of the last Bilderberg conference, we bare witness to a great darkening front closing in on us yet another few inches toward total world domination. The alert observers saw it coming for a long time; the thoroughly indoctrinated are only now beginning to sense that something is rotten in the state of Denmark. How could this have happened without us knowing? And where were the media during our collective comatose suspension? Well, they were busy taking crash courses in ‘educational-operations’ crafted by members of the elite- who are all into streamlining the different media-outlets towards a single purpose, a single hive-mind for us to assimilate into. If you have the misfortune of being born after 1970, you have effectively been put under the spell of this new educational system, dripping into every segment of public life: from broadcasting media and newspapers, to readymade textbooks being used in school and, even, big budget motion pictures flickering predictive programming to be subliminally absorbed.

In a 1968 publication by Louis Francois for the brainwashing division of the UN, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) the author elaborates on the need for a worldwide education-system as opposed to the old, discarded one which still recognised sovereignty of the nation-state (page 18): ‘We are witnessing the establishment of a new world order based upon the system of the United Nations’, Francois explains. He links a growing world population as one of the main obstacles to be overcome in the quest for a global educational system (page 25): ‘(…) not only is the population of the world increasing; it is also growing younger (…). So the first obstacle to be overcome by education is that of quantity. The first problem to be solved by a ministry of education is that of accommodating and teaching these rapidly increasing multitudes of young people.’ On page 32 the author comes to the point, when he arrives at the diabolically logical conclusion of his train of thought: ‘Educational expansion is hard put to it to keep up with the huge growth of population.’ In order to effectively guide the population toward slavery, the number of people should be reduced lest its effectiveness wear off. ‘Wherever we look’, says Francois on page 36, ‘education is striving to forestall the demographic explosion.’ With a sharp sense of foresight when it comes to media matters, the UN-representative describes the future of education and what its ground principles are on which this future should be founded (page 80): ‘Promoting the recognition of the fact that, if the countries of the world are still divided by their interests and their political convictions, they are, day by day, growing more closely interdependent in matters of economics, science, technology and culture. Promoting awareness of the fact that nations must cooperate, that is to say work together for their common good within international organisations.’

‘To sum up,’ the author concludes on page 98, ‘Unesco serves as a catalyst for dynamic ideas. Well placed to hear of what is happening in the world, sensitive to the nation’s needs, Unesco is aware of the very first stirring of ideas, follows their development and can, at the proper time, co-ordinate, harmonize and finally impose them in their full force.’

It would almost be amusing, this notion that Unesco is merely picking up on ideas, if it were not so horribly cynical. This calculated and synchronised move toward a brave new world is not a bottom-up thing, somehow evolving naturally from the grass roots, it is a top-down system, posing as grass roots, to be imposed on as large an audience as it can reach through the use of mass media, schooling systems and other available instruments of propaganda. In 1974, the Director-General of Unesco René Maheu, stressed the importance of gathering all media, irrespective of its medium, under the great wing of Unesco and the globalists. At a banquet of the ‘International Co-ordinating Council of the Man and the Biosphere Programme’ in Williamsburg, USA, Maheu starts out by giving some insight in Unesco’s long-term vision for mankind (page 2): ‘The rationale behind the MAB (Man and the Biosphere) programme is to ensure that the physical, biological and other environmental requirements of man are placed in the hands of each of us (present) and remain under our overall control.’ Explaining to his listening audience that the earth will disintegrate if not for ‘a collective effort planned, organized and executed by the international community acting in concert.’, the Director-General goes on to state: ‘I believe that we have now reached the point in world affairs where we must have a systematic reorganisation of international relations on all levels.’ He of course favours the UN as the proper body to do the reorganising before which he gives it its proper name (page 4): ‘I wish to reiterate my firm conviction- together with my hope- that a new world order- political, monetary, economic and social- should now be established.’

Exactly then years after Louis Francois outlined the plans for a new world order, a meeting of ‘consultants’ was organised at Unesco Headquarters discussing ‘the free and balanced flow of information in a new communication order.’ The participants were carefully selected to match the designs of the globalist organisers (page 1): ‘Fifteen consultants and observers from university and professional circles and representatives of international journalists’ organizations attended this meeting. The main purpose of the meeting was to review briefly the origins of the concept of a free and balanced flow of information, to analyse the current state of discussions and the components of a new world order, together with its legal, technological and socio-economic implications, and to maker suggestions and recommendations for future action by Unesco and other international organisations.’ One of the aims described in the document, was (page 2): ‘Preparing and carrying out "pilot programmes" of education incorporating these principles.’ Regarding the before mentioned ‘legal implications’, one of the proposals was to ‘Draw up regulations relating to international mass communications (page 3).’ There is nothing like a strong chokehold to force your subjects into submission. When the status of the journalist in this new world order was discussed, the participants agreed that they would first have to ‘assess the feasibility of establishing an international code of ethics which would be adopted by journalists possessing a "universal" sense of mission, that is to say transcending their national origin in the defence of peace and fraternity (page 3)’. When we strip off the Orwellian euphemisms, a code of ethics off course equals an oath of obedience. Among the many disturbing recommendations made by the panel, such as setting up ‘an international fund for the purpose of renting news transmission channels’, the need was expressed ‘to set up a "World Press Council" to help ensure the truthfulness and objectivity of information, in the event of it proving impossible to devise and adapt an "international code of ethics (page 6)"’. A transnational body, in other words, that will decide whether a news item is truthful or not. While the going was good, the participants also called for (page 4) ‘seminars for professionals in order to make them understand the need to broaden the concerns of those who, in the mass communication process, have the responsibility for selecting information, in other words, those who act as information filters (Gate-Keepers).’

At a 1983 Unesco conference, there seemed to be an even greater consensus on the strategies that should be implemented in order to reach a new world order and it appears that those in attendance had a swell time debating semantics (page 16): ‘The participants regarded the new world order as a recognized concept, developing but irreversible, which would be established stage by stage.(…) The establishment of a new world communication order appeared to one participant as a participation, a world response to the communications revolution, whereas another emphasized the importance of the word "new" in describing the concept. Some statements emphasized the importance of speaking of a new order and not the new order since the concept was steadily evolving and also stressed the important difference between a new international order, concerned only with inter-State relations, and a new world order, which took into account all communication problems in a global context.’ Bordering on the ridiculous, this exchange between globalists is nevertheless significant for it occurred long before papa Bush delivered his famous ‘new world order’ speech before the US congress in 1991. It became part of the nomenclature long before that within the seclusion of key globalist meetings. On page 10 some participants of the conference declared that ‘the effort to establish a new world information and communication order in stages could not be separated from the effort to promote a new international economic order.’

Their final idea and plan for a world government is not some magical or mysterious force that can only be understood by an arduous reading between the lines, on the contrary: it’s being spelled out for us word for word by overeager transnationalists. As professor Saul Mendlovitz, Co-Director of World Order Models Project (WOMP) said in his acceptance speech at the award ceremony of the 1990 Unesco ‘Prize for Peace Education’ (page 36): ‘it is my personal belief (not shared by all members of WOMP) that there is an overwhelming surge in the direction of global polity and that a world state is emerging. Indeed, some of the policy élite are beginning to discuss a single world central bank and a single currency.’

This- in their own words- is the endgame of the elite. But the road is not without obstacles, as they themselves are acutely aware of. In the same acceptance speech- champagne glass in hand- the professor expresses his concern about a smooth going in the near future: ‘My fear’, Mendlovitz added, ‘is that we will be put off by notions of centralization and legal form and attempt to realize values ‘at a local level’, thus permitting the centralizing forces of the dominant states and classes to maintain control of both the transition and governance of the global polity. What I believe is called for then is the liberating from within ourselves the idea of specie identity. That is, to cultivate that capacity in each of us to identify, empathize and act with and on behalf of the human specie, and in the end the planet we inhabit.’

In order to further inspire this detachment of humans from their own tribe- and divert this natural inclination towards a sense of world citizenry- replacing the tribe for the ‘global tribe’- a great propaganda-infrastructure was forced into being, with a special seat reserved in it for the mass media to incrementally commence with the brainwashing. The globalists have meanwhile spread their tentacles very wide indeed, in an attempt to suck out our survival instincts ‘stage by stage’, and pumping human creative energy straight into their desired new world order. The question as to whether they will succeed depends entirely on the capability of the ‘target audiences’ to resist the constant stream of propaganda. And this capability of course will depend for a large part on the effectiveness of the information war we are waging.

    With at least the tacit backing of U.S. Central Intelligence Agency officials, operatives linked to anti-Castro terrorists introduced African swine fever virus into Cuba in 1971.
    Six weeks later an outbreak of the disease forced the slaughter of 500,000 pigs to prevent a nationwide animal epidemic.
    A U.S. intelligence source told Newsday last week he was given the virus in a sealed, unmarked container at a U.S. Army base and CIA training ground in the Panama Canal Zone, with instructions to turn it over to the anti-Castro group.
    The 1971 outbreak, the first and only time the disease has hit the Western Hemisphere, was labeled the "most alarming event" of 1971 by the United Nations Food and Agricultural Organization. African swine fever is a highly contagious and usually lethal viral disease that infects only pigs and, unlike swine flu, cannot be transmitted to humans.
    All production of pork, a Cuban staple, halted, apparently for several months.
    A CIA spokesman, Dennis Berend, in response to a Newsday request for comment, said, "We don't comment on information from unnamed and, at best, obscure sources."
    Why the virus turned up in Cuba has been a mystery to animal investigators ever since the outbreak. Informed speculation assumed that the virus entered Cuba either in garbage from a commercial airliner or in sausages brought in by merchant seamen.
    However, on the basis of numerous interviews over four months with U.S. intelligence sources, Cuban exiles and scientists concerning the outbreak — which occurred two years after then-President Nixon had banned the use of offensive chemical and biological warfare — Newsday was able to piece together this account of events leading up to the outbreak.
    The U.S. intelligence source said that early in 1971 he was given the virus in a sealed, unmarked container at Ft. Gulick, an Army base in the Panama Canal Zone. The CIA also operates a paramilitary training center for career personnel and mercenaries at Ft. Gulick.
    The source said he was given instructions to turn the container with the virus over to members of an anti-Castro group.
    The container then was given to a person in the Canal Zone, who took it by boat and turned it over to persons aboard a fishing trawler off the Panamanian coast. The source said the substance was not identified to him until months after the outbreak in Cuba. He would not elaborate further.
    Another man involved in the operation, a Cuban exile who asked not to be identified, said he was on the trawler when the virus was put aboard at a rendezvous point off Bocas del Toro, Panama. He said the trawler carried the virus to Navassa Island, a tiny, deserted, U.S.-owned island between Jamaica and Haiti. From there, after the trawler made a brief stopover, the container was taken to Cuba and given to other operatives on the southern coast near the U.S. Navy base at Guantanamo Bay in late March, according to the source on the trawler. The base is 100 miles due north of Navassa.
    The source on the trawler, who had been trained by the CIA and had carried out previous missions for the agency, said he saw no CIA officials aboard the boat that delivered the virus to the trawler off Panama, but added: "We were well paid for this and Cuban exile groups don't have that kind of money . . ."
    He said he was revealing the information because he is a member of an exile group being investigated by the United States in connection with terrorist activity in Florida. His account was confirmed by another intelligence source in Miami. The source said he had no proof that the operation was approved by CIA officials in Washington, but added: "In a case like this, though, they would always give them (CIA officials in Washington) plausible deniability."
    The investigation referred to by the operative on the trawler involves a federal inquiry into terrorist acts allegedly carried out by Cuban exiles. Those include bombings and assassination attempts in the United States and Venezuela. Trained originally by the CIA for operations against Cuba, the exiles have become more restive as they view what they believe to be an increasing move toward rapprochement between Fidel Castro and the United States.

Youtube has restored the official Alex Jones Youtube channel after legal counter claims were filed against the original claims of copyright violation.

It took two weeks for this issue to be resolved, with Youtube examining and determining exactly who had filed the original complaint.

The Infowars team had to write up legal papers and file counter claims in federal court, which eventually prompted the complainant to back down.

Youtube revealed that a second copyright violation was filed, however this turned out to be a fake, with no supporting evidence, no doubt filed by a person who simply dislikes Alex Jones and Infowars.

It also seems that the Pittsburgh Post-Gazzette did not file a complaint against Alex for showing a print out of one of their articles, as originally suggested by Youtube.

The Alex Jones Channel, started by a fan but since embraced as the “official” Alex Jones micro-site on You Tube, has routinely featured in the website’s most popular ranking charts and has collectively attracted close to three million views for videos painstakingly catalogued and uploaded over the past two years.

According to Youtube’s figures, it is the 49th most subscribed to channel of all time and the 99th most viewed channel of all time, despite having only started in February 2008. Furthermore, it is the 9th most viewed channel this month, despite having been recently restricted.

The channel’s deletion seemed terminal, but thanks to the efforts of thousands of viewers and Infowars readers, who have called Youtube to complain about the censorship, the company was prompted to listen to our counter claims.

We would like to thank the viewers/readers for calling in to Youtube and all the Youtubers that have supported the Alex Jones channel. This victory shows the effect that people power can have in the Infowar.
